A little gift to my creationis friends.

"Baugh said he knows there are and will be skeptics, especially since the find is very recent and so far has been tested only in a medical laboratory by a medical doctor. Still, he said he is so confident in the authenticity of the specimen he is ready to put his reputation entirely on the line. He said he is willing put the rock to any non-destructive tests."

Is it not possible to be a creationist, IOW believing that God created the heavens and the earth, AND ALSO believe that the earth is many billions of years old?

What do the constraints of time mean to the One who created time itself?

Another Paluxy River footprint?

Haven't read anything specific about this new one, but here is an analysis of the previous claims:

On the Heels of Dinosaurs

From that article:

Conclusions

Claims of human tracks occurring alongside dinosaur tracks in Texas have not stood up to close scientific scrutiny, and in recent years have been largely abandoned even by most creationists. Although genuine dinosaur tracks are abundant in Texas, the alleged Paluxy "man tracks" involve a variety of misidentified phenomena. The most celebrated "man tracks" on the Taylor Site are forms of "metatarsal" dinosaur tracks--made by dinosaurs which, at least at times, made elongate prints by impressing their metatarsi (soles and heels) as they walked, rather than walking on their toes only. When the digit marks on such elongate/metatarsal tracks are subdued by sediment infilling, mud- collapse, erosion, or a combination of factors, the metatarsal segment at the rear often presents an oblong shape that roughly resembles a large human footprint. Other alleged "man tracks" include erosional features and indistinct markings of uncertain origin, some of which were enhanced with water or oil at times to appear more human, or even physically altered in some cases. A smaller number of "man tracks" are outright carvings (mostly on loose blocks of rock). Claims of other "out of order" fossils from Texas and elsewhere are also lacking in scientific support.

WOW! If true.

This would push back the existence of humanoids in the Americas back millions of years. (or the existence of dinosaurs in the Americas up several million years) I visited Dinosaur Valley state park about 2 months ago. Several million years ago, it was ocean front.

I’m sure they’ll discover the human footprint was left by a member of the Piltdown Man clan.

are you so narrow minded that you think that if there is evolution there could be no creation?

then how did the sun and moon evolve and from what?

if you are familar with Occam’s razor isn’t the most logical explanation that somehow the universe was CREATED by a big bang or chance or a sumpreme being whatever and then life has evoled since?

There are numerous images of easily recognized dinosaur types in American Indian petroglyphs and Indian oral traditions speak of Indian ancestors dealing with dinosaurs on a regular basis. Lewis and Clarke noted that their Indian guides were in mortal terror of Mishipishu (stegosaur) glyphs around the Mississippi river.

"dinosaur print partially over and intersecting the human print"

The big question is, did the guy who was being stalked by the dino get eaten?

Thanks wildbill (I think ;'). Batten down the hatches, it's gonna be quite a blow...

This marks the first ping using the reduced list. Since the last check (which was over a year ago, probably over two years ago), 24 names have gone onto the state of nonbeing (suspended from FR).

Footprint evidence can never rise to a compelling case. Anything at all can cause an impression in mud.

Show me human fossil remains, not even adjacent to dinosaur fossils, but in the same rock layer anywhere on earth.

Surely if man and dinsosaur co-existed, this would not be a hard challenge.

I heard a similar story about such prints several years ago. So how recent is this find?
