Is it not possible to be a creationist, IOW believing that God created the heavens and the earth, AND ALSO believe that the earth is many billions of years old?
What do the constraints of time mean to the One who created time itself?

IMHO, the scriptures themselves show that God created the heavens and the earth in a mature state, which naturally is going to measure billions of years old.

Sheesh. Thats nothing..... I saw a Yeti wearing a bikini riding the Loch Ness Monster, chasing Big Foot in my back yard over the weekend.

What do the constraints of time mean to the One who created time itself? That is a nice philosophical position, but the Bible is either true or not. It says six days, not six indeterminate periods of time. The fossil record does not support the order or chronology of Genesis.

What do the constraints of time mean to the One who created time itself? Exactly. As the old argument says, "How long was a day when all was created by Him?"

Yes, you can be both.
It’s called “Old Earth” creationism. Then you can be unpopular with both the atheist/evolutionist crowd AND the “New World” creationists.

Anything is possible. That is a narrow minded view. What makes you think we have had all truths revealed to us?
