Tony is going to be buried on Thursday.

Bush will attend Tony Snow's funeral Thursday

I am not sure that everyone on FR is aware of Tony Snow's membership and contribution to this wonderful forum.

I am posting the link in the hopes that more people read his posts, and get a sense of what an incredible guy he was.

I do not see how more FR.com threads on his death should in any way be considered as edifying. People reading his actual posts on Free Republic are not edifiying?

It was great fun. Tony would sometimes add a post to the thread and one of his colleagues on the show also signed up on FR and posted on the Show Thread

I didn't know Tony except via FR and his media persona, but I doubt that Tony would have wanted us to dwell overmuch on anything but the wonderful life he led.

So, I'm done dwelling. Rest in peace, Robert Anthony Snow.

Very nice idea, SkyPilot. I just returned from a family funeral in WVA, however, and am going to try and make Tony's funeral, as well [which will take a little doing], so I will be gone until after it is over. Both funerals feel like family! Will check back when I return and read the Thread and see if I can add a little myself.

Tony loved words, and if you can get some folks to post some of his words, it would be a wonderful tribute.
