Newby asks "Ping to 'All'"?

In the 'pings' set in some comments, besides the expected member names, I have seen the word 'All'. Does that 'ping' the message to everyone who already left a comment on that thread? How about those who comment after? And are there other 'special' words, besides 'All'?

It's a little-known FR fact that "All" is short for "Allegra." I get all of those ^&%$# "All" posts and believe me, it gets really annoying sometimes. LOL. Thanks for the laugh.

A few years ago, if you posted to “all” it would send your post to all that already posted to the thread. One day a while back it stopped working, but people still post to “all”.
