Thanks for the link Billie. He must be new on the scene, I’ve never heard him before.

How special that you have a fox family visiting your patio!

My cousin, up near Sacramento, had a fox family living under their deck this spring. They went out and got a special camera and rigged it up so they could capture photos when the kits ventured out at night. This is one of the ones they e-mailed to me. Don't know if this is the mama or one of the kits drinking out of the dog's water dish.

I marvel over the amount of wildlife you have visiting your patio, MEG. It must feel like a safe, welcoming place to them. As I've said before, our wildlife here is pretty limited to gophers and fruit rats. No the kind of wildlife I want visiting my yard. LOL.

Thank you, my FRiends, for Rejoicing with me over Daisy's Return! Now I can Fully Rejoice that Doggie is Back, because my Neighbor's Hearts aren't Breaking!

GeeBee, I'm Glad your Son is Back, and can Imagine your Happiness! Meg, I Love Reading about your Foxes and Racoons; I've only Seen One Fox Here that I can Remember, but See Racoons Fairly Often.

I'm about to Catch Up on the Thread, So Thank you to Everyone in Advance for the Neat Posts.

Thank you

Oh, look at that! A raccoon! Cool! *sigh* We don't have those around here either - not any that I've seen. :-(

I don't know why we don't have more wild critters here (in the central San Joaquin Valley), they probably find the environment more hospitable and food more plentiful in the foothills to the east. There is so much undeveloped land around us for them to roam.

Neat idea! I can’t tell either if it is a kit. Great picture.

I have wondered if the mother fox kept her kits under my neighbor’s deck..I have seen her heading that way with them when they were younger.. Of course mom has lots of spots for a den in the ravine.
