Singer Celine Dion is the biggest water utility user along Florida's Treasure Coast, consuming 6.5 million gallons in a year, a newspaper reported Sunday.
The Palm Beach (Fla.) Post reported its investigation of water usage records for Martin County, Fla., utility users found many of the biggest consumers were on wealthy Jupiter Island, where Dion's company, Renlec Management, owns 5.7 acres. Her estate reportedly went through enough water in a one-year period to fill a 50-gallon bathtub every four minutes.

What was the line from Cinderella Story? The botox-ed old hag?
Fiona: No honey, leave those on! The lawns look a little brown. Sam: You know we're supposed to be conserving water! We're in the middle of a drought!
Fiona: Droughts are for poor people, you think J-Lo has a brown lawn? People who use extra water have extra class.

Someone needs to tell her to jiggle the handle on her commode. I'd say that more than just one of her terlets needs a new flush valve.

Let’s see. 1 gal.=231 cu.in., so 50 gals=11550 cu.in. 11550/42” in length/24” in width = 11.46” in depth. It looks to me like this is a fairly good fit.

"...doesn't it mostly go back into the water table anyway?" Not in Celine's case...she's known to have engaged heavily in the iceberg trade in the past...

The doesn’t include heating that much water. I estimated at 0.21 l/s, which is 50-gals in 15 minutes, it would take 14-kWH to heat that water from 50-degrees to boiling.
