Did anyone else hear about Obama saying we should give up our SUV's, don't expect to keep our houses at 72 degrees and eat as much as we used to?

Nobama actually said that we can’t keep on driving out SUV’s, etc, etc and ‘expect the rest of the world to say ‘OK’’. And then he repeated the BS about the US being 3% (everybody else says 4%) of the population but uses 25% of the resources...and THEN he scared the Seniors about social security...what a foreign policy imbecile he truly is...and what happened to ‘YES WE CAN!!!’????...;-))

and then they ran a video of him saying:

"We can't drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times ... and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK,".

Does this remind anyone else of Jimmy Carter in 1979?

I listened to Neil Howe speak about the Gen X voters and the Mellinium voters. He said the “18 to 25 year old EDUCATED” voters are going to give us Obama for President.

I really am terrified because I believe this man and his wife detest America in general. I believe he is a socialist/racist

I remember watching Jimmah's speech from the Oval Office announcing the Windfall Profits Tax (which Nobama wants to revive in its entirety) and how the government couldn't sit idly by while the oil companies raked in all that profit...

And then I moved to California and watched first-hand as the oil tankers sat offshore, NOT unloading, and then the rationing and people taking vacation days to get gas...

This guy Nobama has learned nothing from the past and is hellbent to repeat it, only THIS time, the RIGHT people will be in charge...;-))

I am not trying to offend anyone - I am just sharing my opinion and you are welcome to share yours with me - I will NOT be offended.

I am reminded of the George Santayana quote; "Those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it" I hope the American people wake up, throw all those BUMS out of Congress and take our country back!!!

We DO lead by example. Our country is so much cleaner, fresher, more concious of the environment than the majority of countries. My neck of the woods is testimony to that!

Last night Hannity ran a clip of the malaise speech, which sounded exactly like Obama. I am telling you guys right now if Obama is elected I am going to be withdrawing from politics. I will occupy myself in making as much money as I can on eBay and church activities and gardening, and I will cancel cable TV.

I refuse to even think about it. Imagine Michelle Obama as First Lady. Shudder.
