Good morning!
Fateful week in national politics. Who predicted we'd be at this point back in January when it all began? Those earliest primaries were supposed to settle everything so quickly! The political gods have a sense of humor......

You’re a minimalist Toby. You’re leaving a small carbon footprint.
Changing the subject, our gas here is SoCal is higher because of taxes. Taxes, taxes, taxes. We LOVE taxes.
We have to have a SPECIAL grade of gas doncha know? Yes, for clean air. So, they pay to clean up our gasoline more, then tax us for more money to clean up the air. I wonder what it would cost if we stripped out all of the taxes?
The day I first set foot in CA to live, about 1965, my eyes ached from the smog. So, I guess the taxes worked - the air is much cleaner.

Thought I would get a little conversation going this morning, Congress. I simply can not understand why the dimwitts sell this country out to the enemies simply to try to embarras the President. Stop ease dropping on OUT of country conversations, believe me, a positive plus for us. fight the radical investigations because it violates their rights, but what about the rights of a serviceman or citizens killed by them. TREASON committed by the dems every day and it seems to be OK because they hate the USA.
Then there are the people who intercept and investigate these radical criminals, their ems? do very thing they can to put them in jail (prison), get them fired from their federal jobs.
Here is the sad part of the whole thing, some Pubs are joining up with them, well, so called pubs anyhow.
Sure we have safeguards built in for protections for all but selling America out is NOT a safeguard.

Not yet. I think it’s odd no one has called me. And my appointment for my root canal got canceled by THEM. Strange, no dr. visits this week for me. But mom had two...

I decided to get gas yesterday even though I had just a bit under a half tank. You know the thinking, “Oops, I’d better get gas before the prices go up.” The price going to work was $3.59, and the price goiong back to work after lunch was $3.69. Now I ask you “What’s up with that? “
To: LBKQ; lysie
Well, I noticed that the closer you get to NYC in CT, the higher the price...;-))

Doesn’t surprise me in the least. Same thing happens here only the city is Washington, DC

This is one of the things that really frosts me, that states mandate different gas formulations without options to allow the importation of formulations from other states (even from adjoining states), so that the price shoots up when the supply is low locally.
What the states have done is to make a custom product out of what is truly a commodity...Kind of like what the states have done to insurance...;-))

I can tell you, it is such a joy to get a wee little one and eventually adopt him or her. Tracy just got a call for Youth Services that the mother to Caleb called her and she has a baby one week ole, the mother wanted them to tell Tracy which makes me think mother wants the child to come here with his bigger brother. Momma is 24 and this child makes her 8th child, busy isn't she. Momma is in SC and I told D we would drive up there and get the child if OK’d and if we do, there is one lady I am going to see regardless where in the state she is...you know who too.
We need boys, big yard, two tractors and lots of shovels.
