Good morning!

Fateful week in national politics. Who predicted we'd be at this point back in January when it all began? Those earliest primaries were supposed to settle everything so quickly! The political gods have a sense of humor......

Good morning! The word is that Hillary is loaning herself some more million$. These Clintons NEVER give up.

When you've finished cleaning up your shack in the back, Toby, bring your cleaning supplies to my house....What with yard work and keeping up with politics, I have not given the house even a lick and a promise of cleaning. LOL

In roaming the internet this morning, I found this little gem: Paul Greenburg bemoans the lack of trenchant insults by the current crop of candidates. Downright dull, he thinks, as compared to those of Jefferson, Hamilton, Adams et al. The Decline of Insult

Good mornign everyone!

lysie, thanks again, sweetie. Gllad you had fun with your aunt, I, too, have an aunt close to my age; only 7 years older.

IG, tillacum, in my search thru googles space, I came across lots of sites where they listed various kinds of thyme. I think one of them was lemon scented, one was creeping, and one was creeping. If I get afew minutes today, I'll try to look them up for you.

Thanks for starting the thread Molly!

prairie, that's great! Let me know how the fair is conducted and what they tell her.

I am confident she will not have a problem getting a job. She has wonderful credentials. The key is where she wants to teach and when the openings are announced. Sometimes, they hold these job fairs before the current staff has submitted their plans for the coming year.

At least, that happens here. It is quite nerve racking!

One good thing about being retired, one does what they want too like today, I am lazy, tired (don't know why), hungry and dibble diddle in whatever I want to snack on, sitting in my ‘rare back’ chair and enjoy every minute of it. It is heck to get old ya know.

Now, time to get ready for RUSH to come on so, gotta go and get ready for ‘da man’.

The gardens aren’t really impressive, they are just fun to play in and talk about. I’ve planted a dahlia with some of my strawberries and I think I’ll do a couple of lylies and dahlias with my Greek Oregano. The lemon thyme is going crazy and has almost taken over the lavener, so pruning is going to begin.

Thank you for pointing us toward google space. Will try it.

Sorry for any inconvenience. Thyme, Creeping Red - Thymus praecox subsp. arcticus A fast, low growing evergreen thyme valued for its fragrant foliage and a profusion of beautiful red flowers all summer long. This thyme creeps along the ground, making it an excellent choice between pavers or as a ground cover. Easy to grow in ordinary, well-drained soil. Low-growing space 12 to 18" apart. Ships in Large 4 inch pots. This is just the right size for transplanting. Purchase in multiples of 3 and 5 plants. After reading about what she was like in the WH, I hate to venture a guess at what it would look like should that happen...

Toby, Mr HOB and I had not had a landline since October of 2005. It is much cheaper to have cell phones. It is much cheaper even with a family plan which includes 3 phones; his, mine and my Dad's. He has a phone for emergencies, plus gets long distance calls at any time he wants to make them for $10.00 per month. What a deal!

Our bill is higher since we have theplan but it is still cheaper than having both cell phones and a landline. I could probably lessen the bill more if Mr HOB would give up DirectTV and the football package to bundle the TV,cell and Internet connection together.
