Important New Global Warming Study (Vanity)
Various ^ | 5/2/08 | Roger Wilko

I am NOT a scientist, BUT… I’ve performed my own global warming study based solely on common sense! I’ve found after many hours of research that man CANNOT be responsible for any change in the earth’s weather.

If you someone who thinks that man is capable of controlling the earth's weather, show my carefully crafted study and tell them to explain how it can be done.

Here are my facts:

The 3,000 scientific robots that measure the temperature of the oceans haven't recorded ANY change in temperature over the last 4 to 5 years!!

No Temperature Change

There is an estimated THREE MILLION PLUS underwater volcanoes in the oceans that might be responsible for temperature changes in the ocean.

3 Million Volcanoes

Did you ever check to see the areas where they monitor the so-called average temperatures on the earth? Most are in populated areas with NO specific controls on where they're placed, and they only leave out a FEW MILLION spots on the earth's surface! So how can they actually make a determination on the average earth's temperature when they haven't included all the "missing" areas!?

Do you actually BELIEVE these computer forecasting models on what's going to happen to the earth in 50 or 100 years from now... When they can't even tell you with any certainty what the weather's going to be FIVE DAYS from now??!! They don't even have enough reliable history to even make a good guess on what the climate of the earth has done over the past couple of hundred years. No one knows exactly how old the earth is, but... It's anywhere from many thousands to billions of years old and it's not going anywhere from human activity

Now check this out for a lesson in common sense:

The earth is over 70% ocean.

The surface of the earth covers approximately 197,000,000 square miles.

There are approximately 500 cities on the earth with a population of 1,000,000 or more.

The top 16 biggest cities on the earth cover approx. 350,000 square miles with the 16th smallest city being about 4,000 square miles.

World's Largest Cities

If you allow the almost 500 cities with over 1,000,000 people, 4000 square miles, which would probably be more than enough to cover all the other smaller cities on the earth, that would cover 200,000 square miles. Oh, what the hell… We’ll throw in an EXTRA 200,000 square miles to MAKE SURE we cover the small cities on the earth.

So you’ve got 750,000 square miles of earth covered by cities… That’s the TOTAL area of populated space including; factories, airports, houses, businesses, etc., which means you STILL have PLENTY of open space included within that square mileage. The earth’s land-mass is over 57,000,000 square miles.

You know what that means? The TOTAL populated square mileage of the land-mass surface of the earth is JUST OVER ONE PERCENT!! That’s JUST the land-mass!!

The earth is OVER 70% water, or almost 140,000,000 square miles.

This means that we are actually occupying LESS THAN 4 TENTHS OF ONE PERCENT of the earth’s surface!!

Now take into consideration the atmosphere between the earth’s surface and outer space extends over 50 miles above the earth.

So NOW… Tell me how a tiny, miniscule dot (LESS THAN 4/10th of 1 percent) on the face the earth is going to affect a 50-PLUS mile band of air around the earth to the point where we will actually affect the earth’s weather?! GUESS WHAT? It can’t be done and if you believe it can… Go back to your global warming, climate-changing cultists and sit around wringing your hands and worrying about things that will never happen!

Bottom line is, nobody knows what's happening as far as the temperature goes and there's about a 99.9% chance we can do NOTHING about it even if the earth IS warming, or cooling, or snowing, or flooding!

I'm throwing this out just in case I'm able to sway someone else over to the darkside of the National Global Warming Denier Society (NGWDS).

Of course, a LOT of this is just my opinion, BUT... It's PACKED with facts and based on a SERIOUS amount of common sense!

Not sure why you are doing this. The debate is over per Algore’s memo. I now deem you a Flatearther. Plant three hard wood trees and pray to Pangaea for forgiveness.

Common sense doesn’t count when you are dealing with a cult.

I know Al’s gonna be PISSED!

I decided to post this because I’ve never seen it explained in these terms before. I decided to see if I could figure out just how much space we actually take up on this planet, so I dug up all these facts and figures to get a good rough estimate.

When I saw the numbers, it seems like man’s effect on the climate is the same effect that a cow fart would have on the climate!

Ohhh... Wait a minute! We ARE ALL GONNA DIE!!

What about the cornfields?

Yes, I believe in cornfields and the importance of growing and eating corn.

I believe in cornfields

Not enough to put them in your global climate model?
