Have any of you ever made Chinese boneless pork ribs? Sarah loves them, but they cost big bucks at take out places. I made some last night, but they were not quite right.

Good morning.

Would have been here earlier, but computer wasn’t working. After unplugging and rebooting several times, and then leaving it alone for an hour, I just got on.
Happy to be here!

I’m doing ok. How are you? And how is your mom doing? Is she adjusting to life after the loss of her husband?

Good morning.
To answer your question about the hairdresser, this is her last weekend. So she should be there.

Ingredients:
2 pounds Boneless Country-Style Pork Ribs

***Glaze:***
2/3 cup Hoisin Sauce
1/4 cup Pineapple juice
2 tablespoons Soy sauce
2 tablespoons Rice vinegar
2 tablespoons Sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon Fresh ginger, minced
1 each Garlic clove, minced

Turn this recipe into a puzzle! [click]
Directions:

In small bowl, combine all glaze ingredients; blend well. Heat oven to 350F. Place ribs in 12x8-inch (2-quart) baking dish or 13x9-inch pan. Bake for 1 hour. Drain. Pour glaze over ribs, covering completely. Bake an additional 30-45 minutes or until ribs are tender, basting occasionally with glaze.

(I throw them under the broiler for a little bit to really get the glaze on there, just be careful not to let it sit too close to the flame, for too long.

Good mormomg lysie, looks like we are going to get some rain today, really don't need it but will take it.

COST LAPEL UPDATE! HE IS STILL NOT WEARNIG ONE!!!!

I am ‘shack in the back’ cleaning and hopefully will get my bed moved back over from the ‘big house’ so I can do my thing. Never would believe that one little ole shack could get so dirty in such a short time, sheesh, not I see why they say House Cleaning is a SOMANS JOB!!!! I know, I betcha I shore’ opened a can of worms with that, right????

Just heard that the coach at LSU is getting 3 1/2 million a year, sheesh.

Oh well, time to draw a bucket of water and get to work now, lets see what I did with that mop...
Toby

Good afternoon everyone!

I am at work so I just got onto the site. I see Neets and lysie are cooking, Iowa Granny is flying by, and Toby is cleaning his shack in the back.

What are the rest of you doing?

I’m helping my hubby pack. He’s taking off for IN and IL tomorrow with a stop in Topeka to see daughter and family. I’m so jealous...

Mom is doing well. We've had her out several times, and she finally told me she'd prefer to go with her friends more often, and would it be okay if I didn't 'hover'. LOL.

I think she is on track.
