1000+ Iraqi security forces are fired following the Basra attack. They had refused to fight against the Shi'ite insurgents.
Pres. Bush will discuss the airline inspection debacle with the Transportation Sec. today.
O spent the weekend deflecting Hillary's vigorous attacks over his PA comments from last weekend. Time will tell how successful he is.

My experience with the democrats is that whenever you think they can't go lower, they always do. We thought Al Gore was bad, and then they nominated Kerry. Kerry was aawful, but now they want Obama.
If it weren't for the citizenship requirements, I bet they would nominate Hugo Chavez!

You know what??? I am of the opinion that America the Beautiful will survive just fine no matter who is elected, even if Nobama or Hillary are. We survived 8 years of Billary, we can survive anything. And Thank God we have a Constitution...;-))

BTW, Ben STein's movie got a TERRIBLE review in today's paper. I mean this reviewer made it sound worse than AlGore's movie;^))....way worse....

You are right Bit, we’ve survived the elected royals since shortly after WWII when we began electing professional politicians, socialists for the most part. We still have them in both parties....look at Orin Hatch for one, Warner of V and quite a few others, on the Republican side, killer kennedy, KKK byrd and others on the democRAT side. Now we have spoiled professional brat politicians leading the democRAT party, ie. pussy galore pelosi and ravished reid. We will survive, and it will be the average American who saves this country, not the elected royals, as they pretend they do.
