WASHINGTON A Navy officer has described for a Washington jury how she worked as a call girl while also serving as a supply officer at the Naval Academy.
Lt. Cmdr. Rebecca Dickinson testified Thursday that she had sex for money while working for Deborah Palfrey's escort service, according to The Washington Post.
She testified she quit in April 2006 because she didn't like the work and because she had other commitments.
Palfrey has said she was unaware that the escorts were having sex for money. She says the business was an erotic fantasy service.
Testimony resumes Monday.

As an O-4 over 18 years her base pay is about $6500 a month. Add another $1500 or so for housing and subsistance and she's making $96,000 a year. They shouldn't need beans and rice.
I noticed in the Navy times article that she taught a Navy Leadership class for one semester at the Naval Academy sometime during 2004-2007. DUH???
Guess she was a practitioner of "Don't ask, don't tell."
She just THOUGHT she had marital problems. Now she does. Unless she’s already divorced.
Not at 96,000 a year they wouldn’t likely need beans and rice . . . but debt can chew you up regardless of income. My point was general, people that do illegal or immoral things “for the children” have lost their balance and often end up hurting the children as well as themselves.
OMG!!! There's drinking going on in a bar? There's SEX FOR MONEY going on in an ESCORT SERVICE????
Whore Supplier Palfrey is a real HOOT!
Not necessarily. If she was passed over for promotion to commander she could have 19 year in and be forced to retire at 20.

So the money she earned doing this potentially cost her lifelong retirement benefits ONE YEAR before they came. Amazing . . .
She would have to pay me, or at least a 6pack to get things rolling.
That being said, here's the way it seems to have played out to me.
She was married with three kids - probably the family was living beyond their means, maybe a too-nice-to-afford house with a big mortgage.
She has "marital problems" - i.e., most likely she and her husband got separated and he moved out. Without his income - and probably a year or more away from some kind of support payments or alimony - she declares bankruptcy because she is now officially way over her head financially.
Hooking pays her $90 in cash an hour ($180 with a 50% split to the shocked, shocked Miss Palfrey). Five hours of "work" a week is quite a supplement.
You mentioned disease earlier - most likely the clients were using protection. She says she refused certain clients - I'm going to guess her refusal was based on their desire to engage in higher-risk behavior. Not foolproof - but different from most street prostitutes, I would guess.
We learn further that she quit for a time - perhaps she anticipated a reconciliation? - and then she offered Palfrey her services again months later, presumably because the divorce was now final.
Ick. Guilty.
Incidentally, did her customers have to fill out a 1240 for services? Did she have a COSAL for various acts?
That's certainly not a thumb. Criminy, that's a homemade pron pic ... BLECH.
Yep, same as a Major.
After all of those years of getting screwed by the officer corps, I now find out that all I had to do to return the favor was to spend a few bucks??? And it's my luck she's quit. That's like the poor fella that married Linda Lovelace and then she found Jesus.
This is from a retired Navy Master Chief...and yes that's the same as a Command Sergeant Major.
That would be a 1250 (unless you were talking about the mid sixties - in which case it would be an 1150). The COSAL (Co-ordinated Shipboard Allowance List) was for shipboard parts, and the part being rented was not on the list....I would have known if it was.
NOT-A-PING
Go Army. Beat Navy.
you just cracked me up!!
That pic is too funny.
