Jemian...you are trying to make arrangements in Bristol, TN? Thre's a big NASCAR racetrack there..so there should be quite a number of restaurant choices there. Have you googled for restaurants in that area? I've made long-distance arrnagements a couple of times using that method for small dinners/reunions and such.

I have spent a long day with grandkids, who were good but demand a lot of my energy.
That storm is dumping rain on us.
Mr. Marple is still in Denver, and will be there for the foreseeable future. I am going to have to fly in a plane to see him, which will demonstrate my love.
She sounds fabulous. I just adore dogs. (if you look on my profile page, scrolling down, you’ll see my loves - it’s a photoshopped old picture and I love it. Hubby did it for me.)
You ain't just whistling, lady. It makes me glad to be self-grounded, and have no requirements to fly anywhere. ;) Mr. Marple is a lucky man to have someone willing to brave an airport these days.

I have arrived safely at home. The wind and rain was fierce.
I saw 200-300 white geese waiting out the storm on the Marsh 30 miles up the road. It was quite a sight to see.
I recommended some software to use if you wanted to create your own blog/forum site on your own machine. GoDaddy’s OK, it’s as good as anything else that isn’t based on your own equipment...;-))

I’m glad you made it. I’ve learned to watch the animules. When they’re waiting something out, it is wise to head them.
I’m around, just kind of down with the icky political news. I am still having problems with my shoulder, so it is hard to sit at the computer after work. I can take about 8 hours a day and then my shoulder complains. :) I keep repeating to myself: at least I don’t have to have surgery. Take care.
Just a few observations about the state of the world. Katie Couric, need I say more? Leaving CBS, awwww. Hillary Clinton: can she shoot herself in the foot again for us? Of course, it is everyone else’s fault that she can’t stay on message. Barak Hussein Obama. Just yikes. Mike Huckabee: no class.
