My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Understood, we have to eat something each day.
I just like to cook, albeit a little boring day after day to get excited about cooking. I enjoy cooking in Winter months, when Summer comes I don’t enjoy it so much. Can’t stand the heat -get out of the kitchen as the saying goes.

Cooking is a wonderful thing. I’m just too visually stimulated to be able to do it. I’m See food, eat food and sometimes eat things rare or raw while trying to put something together.

Oh well, I would say you do okay, and have not eaten anything that may harm you. Or have you? LOL
It took me a long time to learn to be a good cook, I stick to the old fashion style of cooking. Just basic meat, veggies and potatoes, salad, etc.

It has been SNOWING SINCE EARLY MORNING!!! Temps have dropped below freezing in the last hour and it is now sticking to the street and driveway.

Gee, is anybody not having global freezing?! My sympathies. It's not snowing here, just raining. All the moles drowned and worms are using themselves as snorkels. It's wicked mucky.

Good morning/afternoon Lairites! Kathy a little wake up music please. Haven't jetted off to the desert on vacation yet. That happens Thursday. It will be a working vacation (ahem). Todays virtual menus is:
- Thick sugar cured ham slices
- Eggs made to order
- Butter fried potatoes
- Buttermilk pancakes
- White bread for toasting
- Oatmeal
- Assorted syrups, jams and jellies
- Bananas and seedless green grapes
- Assorted flavors of yogurt
- Creme and jelly filled pastries
- Chilled white milk
- Copious quantity of dark and rich Columbian coffee
