Good morning!
US Forces have killed several militants in the latest Iraqi attacks.
It's the last day of March!
Countdown for the Dems til April primary continues.
Discussion of Fed's role in financial institutions' troubles moves into another week as the administration has outlined its own plan.
Good morning ladies. My mother’s upper arm break is healing nicely, and she now can get some PT with that arm...range of motion, etc. Surgery is not recommended at this time on the elbow break, and ultimately this break, while not painful, may hold her back from a full recovery. The tip of her elbow which anchors the muscle is gone.

I agree with you on that till. I just meant Clinton didn’t give a rip about welfare reform....really anytime....and particularly not in his 1992 bid.
Good Morning. Just a quick drive by posting for me.
Wonderful to see Toby posting yesterday.
And, YES, it was the Republicans who pushed WJC into signing the Welfare Reform measures.
Good morning everybody.
Welcome to ATRW Lantz. It’s a nice little corner of FR to pull up a chair and chat for a while....take a break from the news forum.
Mr. Prairie continues to run a fever, last night it was 101.8 He’s coughing less but still complains of a slight sore throat and headache. Anyway, he isn’t feeling well at all and has that miserable fatigue. I can’t think there is much to do other than wait it out (fluids, rest etc) but I’m watching closely for the need to see an M.D.
The final park meeting for the season is this morning and I certainly want to go hear all the latest poop, so best get some things accomplished.
Good morning.
Good to hear that your Mom is progressing. Think of her often. Hope the PT helps.
Grandsons # 4&5 will arrive in half an hour for most of the day. Must get with it.
:-)
DON’T YELL...No coffee yet - and I just ... can’t ... take it.
Was so good to see you yesterday!
I learned last night that the elderly husband of one of my cousins fell off his ladder awhile back, bruised a rib, and probably injured his hip...he already has pain issues with his back so this is not good.
Too many stories lately of seniors injuring themselves in avoidable accidents....
You must have the day off?
Back later.
That reminds me of our next door neighbors in IL. He must’ve been in his 90’s when we sold our house after living next door to them for 19 years. He was very tight with his money and wouldn’t pay for a gutter cleaning service, insisting to get up on ladders and do it himself.
He wanted Mr. Prairie to sell him our ladder and Mr. Prairie refused telling the neighbor that he wasn’t going to have him fall off a ladder that we sold to him.
It didn’t change anything because when we saw them again about a year later, the neighbor made it a point of telling hubby that he had cleaned out the gutters himself, LOLOL!
We didn’t hear from them last Christmas for the first time in over twenty years. She’d developed Alzheimers and they were in an assisted living facility, having been convinced they their kids to sell the house. I wish I knew how they were doing.
Thak you, Molly. Present. Good morning all.
Sorry to hear about Mr.P. I've been fighting a cough, too, and thought my problems were just due to catching a little bug concurrent with taking chemo. Took me a week to get over the fatigue.
Good morning sweetie-pie.
I received this in an email - I’m in CA, my daughter now lives in Michigan - LOL
::::
Due to the popularity of the Survivor’s shows, Northern Michigan is planning
to do its own, titled ‘Survivor - Michigan Style.’
The contestants will start in Traverse City , travel over to Kalkaska and on
to Grayling. Then they will head north to Gaylord, Mackinaw City , and St
Ste Marie. From there they will proceed west to Iron Mountain and Copper
Harbor . Then they will go south-east to Escanaba and St Ignace, and the
final leg will be back to Traverse City .
Each will be driving a pink Volvo with California license plates and a large
bumper sticker that reads: ‘I’m gay. I’m a Vegetarian. Beer is harmful to
your health. Republicans suck. Hillary in 2008. Deer hunting is murder, and
I’m here to confiscate your guns.’
The first one that makes it back to Traverse City alive wins. Good luck to
all contestants! GO
Hilarious!
