Patrick Swayze Has Five Weeks to Live Due to Pancreatic Cancer

Patrick Swayze was told that he has five weeks to live after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

Swayze, 55, has been sick with the disease since he was diagnosed in late January with pancreatic cancer, but the cancer has since spread to other organs and now the Dirty Dancing star is dying.

For the past month, Swayze has been traveling to Stanford University’s cancer center for radical chemotherapy, but his doctors are no longer hopeful that the treatments will be successful, according to the National Enquirer.

Swayze received three doses of chemotherapy, causing the tumor to shrink, but less than his doctors had hoped for.

Swayze has reportedly lost more than 20 pounds in the past few weeks and is restricted to a liquid diet because he has trouble keeping down solid food.

Oh man. I had serious puppy-dog eyes for him after Dirty Dancing. A seriously sexy man.

It wasn’t until years later that I realized how terrible the underlying plotline was. I still love the movie though, and just ignore the liberal pro-death crap.

Prayers up for Mr. Swayze and his family.

Sad. May God watch over and protect Mr. Swayze in his final agony and give him the grace of a good death.

Roadhouse was a great guy flick but it will never make up for Dirty Dancing though......

My favorite bad line from a movie of all time...

I’m not questioning the story, but merely suggesting that a thread sourced there will have a short life expectancy.

Who would ever forget his SNL skit with the late Chris Farley as the Chippendale wannabe.

I must be a guy then, ‘cause I loved it.

Swayze is so sexy, BUT Sam made that movie. All I have to do is hear that man’s voice. *is it getting hot in here?*

But sadly the Enquirer is usually right about these things.

That’s a shame.

My favorite Patrick Swayze memory actually doesn’t involve him at all. Tom Snyder was interviewing Patrick Stewart (the classically trained British actor) and in a segue to a commercial, that idiot Snyder said something like “We’ll be back with more of Patrick Swayze in a moment.” I’ll never forget the look on Stewart’s face.

Is there any difference between the National Enquirer and the MSM besides the Enquirer being slight more reliable?

I recently read he was being considered for a role in Blood Done Sign My Name which is supposed to begin production pretty soon.
Some people here are looking forward to him coming to town.

Dirty dancing? How about that abortion of a movie called Steel Dawn? That's what killed him.

We're still praying those reports that Patrick Swayze has terminal pancreatic cancer are untrue. His publicist has yet to issue a statement. However, a very good source just told us the following: "Patrick has been at rehearsals for a new cheer leading movie at century city studio frequently lately, and he definitely does not look like he has 5 more weeks of life left…im not sure of his medical condition(s), but if he is gravely ill, he is hiding it very well." Let's hope he is not as gravely ill ("5 Weeks Left To Live") as is being reported!
