Here's the link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DOT05DsbrAU
I took a look at the video and it looks to me like the puppy is already dead.
Anyone else care to take a look and comment?

Like you, I’d guess the puppy was already dead.
I hope the superior officers for the guys in the video give them a good chewing out, tho’ — this video is not a good look even if it was intended as a “joke”. It actually says something rather sick and unpleasant about them.
Not easy to tell on the video if dead or not.
Did you read the comments under the video? Wow, I like dogs too, but some of those sick bastids wanting an IED to blow his legs off in retaliation? Damn
You Tube has already posted the Marines personal info on you tube so if he did such , even if the pup was dead, he’s got some issues. Personal or professional he’s gonna have some career issues.....Damn !
Dont worry about your tagline.....you are most definitely NOT alone.
Hmmmmm I am new here. I worded mine a little differently, but somehow I think we think the same way.
The Army offers a $50,000 college scholarship. The Navy offers you a chance to see the World. The Air Force will train you in a high-tech, high-paying job. The Marine Corps gives you something that no amount of money could ever buy -- an unshakable tradition; an unbreakable value system; an incomparable life.
No other serviceperson "lives" their service like a Marine. A Marine is a Marine 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, rain, shine, leave, weekends, and holidays. Even a Marine's civilian clothing wear is restricted, on or off duty, on or off base, on or off leave. As the regulation says, "Marines may well be associated and identified with the Marine Corps even when not wearing a uniform. Therefore when civilian clothing is worn, Marines will ensure that their dress and personal appearance are conservative and commensurate with the high standards traditionally associated with the Marine Corps. No eccentricities of dress will be permitted."
Loyalty to the Corps and honor are the watchwords of a Marine. The first definition of honor in my dictionary is "high public esteem, fame, glory." The 2nd definition is "honesty or integrity in one's beliefs and actions." Try asking come college teenager to define "honor." Chances are they'll know about fame and glory; the school "honor roll" and so on.
Will they be able to articulate the second definition? Will they say they have personal honor?
Now, ask a Marine 18 year old the same question. He will tell you exactly what honor means, without hesitation, and -- his definition will have nothing to do with glory. To a Marine, honor is loyalty and dedication to God, Country, Corps, Family, and Self.
When asked what he/she does for a living, a sailor would likely respond, "I'm in the Navy." An airman would likely respond, "I'm in the Air Force." A soldier would probably reply, "I'm in the Army." When asked the same question, a Marine will answer, "I AM a Marine."
THE FEW. THE PROUD. THE MARINES.
My late husband was one of the few and the proud. He would cry over this humiliation of his Marine Corps!

At best if it was a fake it still gives a stupid black eye to the Marines, fa ly or unfairly.
At worst if the puppy was alive then this guy is a piece of crap and I hope he gets a dishonerable discharge. Hasn’t he learned from Michael Vick that people in this country love dogs?
The puppy didn’t look dead to me. What was making the squealing sound?
Fake video, IMO
If the puppy were dead, his hind legs would have been hanging down. Instead, the hind legs were up, meaning a live dog was holding them up.
I can’t make out what the throwing Marine says at the end.
One time (c. 1984) at Twenty-Nine Palms a Marine in my battalion stumbled across a sidewinder and decided he would get the gas can from the jeep and set the snake on fire. Instead the chucklehead ended up setting himself on fire and had to be med-evac’d out. The guy wasn’t seriously hurt or anything and I always thought he got what he deserved. The snake got away.
I don’t like snakes, but I wouldn’t hurt one if I didn’t have to and I wouldn’t want to see any animal being tortured—cute and fuzzy or ugly and slithery. I’ve never understood the type of person that would swerve their car to run over something or just has to kill an animal because it crosses their path.
You must be hard of hearing, the puppy was frighten and was whimpering!
God help us because reading headlines day after day humanity is going down hill quickly!
And if the puppy was dead which it was not that is no way to treat anything that is dead.
All things of the Lord will be saved.
Do sound of a whimper puppy help to clarify!
I disagree, too - I wanna see this subhuman SOB killed because I don't want to see him coming back to the U.S. where he can harm my family and loved ones.
Hopefully, his death will be painful.
