                   My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Seems I am wrong about Sonnets not rhyming, we see it here in this Sonnet.
Sonnet I
by Elizabeth Barrett Browning
I thought once how Theocritus had sung
Of the sweet years, the dear and wished-for years,
Who each one in a gracious hand appears
To bear a gift for mortals, old or young:
And, as I mused it in his antique tongue,
I saw, in gradual vision through my tears,
The sweet, sad years, the melancholy years,
Those of my own life, who by turns had flung
A shadow across me. Straightway I was ‘ware,
So weeping, how a mystic Shape did move
Behind me, and drew me backward by the hair:
And a voice said in mastery, while I strove,—
‘Guess now who holds thee ? ‘—’ Death,’ I said. But, there,
The silver answer rang,—’ Not Death, but Love.’

Good afternoon Meg, lovely flowers. They encourage with color.
Chilly again, cold North wind blowing, no raking leaves today.

    FR is driving me nuts!
It’s warm and cloudy here..I wish it would go ahead and rain!
I got the patio power washed again...a must while these ripe youpon berries are dropping.
I have loved the youpon berries but they do make a mess this time of year.
The nandina hedges I pruned hard the first of March are sprouting out of the bare stalks..Whew.
I am going to quit trying to post for awhile.

You are naturally inquisitive and curious. You're excited by new ideas, and you are a true independent thinker.
You are interested in what is possible. You like the process of discovery. You are often experimenting, challenging old ideas, and inventing new concepts.
Rules, restrictions, and limit don't really work for you. You have to do things your own way, and you can't be bothered to explain yourself. |
