My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Tude, I am so glad you could get your computer working..I have 4
surge protectors..They won't help if lightning strikes..I am
careless and usually don't unplug everything like I should
during a thunderstorm.

Good afternoon Dragonflies!
It was a beautiful day out today and I was able to take full advantage of it. I hope all the lovely Lairites had the same.

Oh lovely picture. It was a lovely day here as well. I was a bit tempted to do some yard work, but decided against it at this time. I am fearful that I will pull up the shoots and tender greens if I rake around now. Also, the dead leaves offer some protection.
Glad you got to enjoy the nice weather.

I went out and purchased a interruptible power supply (UPS) that I plugged both computers into. Should a sudden loss of power happen, it will hold up the computer so that it will shutdown normally. I still have a surge suppressor in the line also. As you say if lightning storm were to occur, I yank the plugs.

Please no ideas for Calli. She does other things to wake me up. I guess turnabout is fair play as I would wake her constantly when my computer was down.

Talking about protection, burying the hollyhocks in leaves today might help keep the deer away and give the plants a chance.
There were plenty of things to do without baring any delicate new growths. I cleared out a lot of the pachysandra; you can pee on that crap and won't kill it. But the deer won't eat it, so it thrives despite my enmity.
It was gorgeous out and I don't know about you but I'll have to remember it since we'll be right back into the crappy weather tomorrow and for the next 10 days or more.

Our weather is supposed to take a dive, too. March is so unsettled we just have to wait it out.

Those are cherry blossoms. The lighting and colors drew me to it.
How was your day?

I ran errands, had lunch with a friend and worked in the yard and garden. The day was serendipitous.

I just saw the weather for tomorrow afternoon and evening, two inches of snow predicted. Yikes.
