Good morning! I was up and so started the thread....
Ralph Nader, the bete noir of the Left, has proclaimed his candidacy.
Hillary is going so negative, shrill and sarcastic in her Ohio and Texas campaigning, it's only going to scare more voters and delegates to her opponent's side.
I also got 16/20
Do you have a lot of snow Lysie? I noted on the national weather map you were getting it also. Did all the former snow ever melt or did you have a lots of dirty snow piles on the road edges?
Still coming down steadily here. Will be interesting to see how much effect (if any) this has on the debate tonight)
Raven, that is a cute test. I posted it elsewhere a few days ago ...
Hi Dolly, wish we were getting the snow you guys are getting. Any more it seems all we get is ice.
We are far below the average amount that we usually get, but 6 miles north of us is not as lucky.
Great news! That is the day I will be an election judge, and our salary for that is a whopping minimum wage.
She's still alive????
My day took an unexpected turn this a.m., when I loaded up the older van with items for the cleaners, the library, etc, with a first stop at the tire place to get the tires checked under warranty, but when I closed my door...wham! The back window disintegrated! So I had to call the insurance, & via a conference call with a glass place, arrangements were made to come out today, and get it fixed.
So I'm waiting, and getting lots done here.
Oldest son & DIL arrive tomorrow for long anticipated visit.
And H & O are debating at CSU tonite you probably know...but you may not know that because of some Univ. rules, funding had to come from other sources, and guess what??? EEEEE-vil large corporations have agreed to pay the Dems debate expenses......
What's the latest on Toby...??
Seldom have any time to myself and FR is soooo addictive... I think of y’all often. Now, especially with this being an election year more than ever.
How is the ATRW family? What’s going on with Toby???
I just think Nader’s a newshound who loves to see his face everywhere he can get it posted and see his name wherever anyone will use it. I think he’s a presidential running twit.
How's your family?
Hello kassie. Is it cool where you are? It’s good to see you. I’ve been wondering about you.
Hello, Kassie, I’ve been wondering where you’ve been. I hope everything is going all right with you and yours?
Molly, that is a bummer about the van window. What about your stuff that you had just loaded. Is that ok?
I’ll keep Toby in my prayers.
Family is busy but for the most part healthy.
It was close to 80 down here yesterday but today it’s sitting in the mid 50s.
Hey Jemian.
How are you and your family? Are you in the states?
No, we’re overseas at the moment. We’ll be heading to the states in June. Hubby and I will be there for six months and the youngest is remaining there. A quick family update:
The youngest is graduating from high school at the end of May.
The oldest is graduating from Auburn U at the beginning of May.
The oldest is going to Ireland with the AU Marching Band for St. Patrick’s Day.
JT is getting married in July.
JT is his unit’s entry in the Soldier of the Year contest.
Hubby and I are same OLD, same OLD.
As we all know those Big corporations are the ones who mistreat their employees, don’t give them a decent salary, not enough health care, make them work long hours, they are terrible. AND LOOK AT the huge salaries the corporation CEOs are receiving and the amount of money they get when the retire. Just ask hussein and hillary. Look how much money the Oil Corporations are raking in. It’s just terrible. Now I ask.........Why are the awful, corrupt corporations always baling the democRATS out of a situation?
OH my goodness! How your family has changed in activities and accomplishments. You must be so very proud and happy with them.
So am I reading this correctly - you and hubby will be alone after this summer? All children are on their own?
Please, lets not talk about being OLD. (legs popping as I go up and down the stairs)
Yes, we’re finally getting rid of ‘em! LOL!
We had eight years together before LionsDaughter was born. In fact, I brought her home on our eighth wedding anniversary.
I am looking forward to the quiet and predictability of just the two of us.
It’s your turn.
