I think those congress critters live in their own little world of make believe....
Severely tempted to run for office.
Frustrated with NY in personally and Congress/White House specifically.
But... I’d be impeached in record time if I ran and succeeded in gaining office.
Lots of people don’t like my blunt and often rude in person delivery of what I think.
I’m better at non-inperson ‘speaking.’
In person, I either have ot bite my tongue or have people Irate at me because their feelings have been hurt.
But still.. Congress freaked out over bank execs spending, admittedly, ludicrously and then they turn around to buy pimped out golf carts.
How does a fleet of pimped out golf cartts stimulate anything except to shuttle fat pimpled congress sleaze butts around?

Heh...I know exactly what you mean. I can get very emotional when talking politics, especially with libtards. They spout the same old rhetoric with no facts to back up they’re beliefs. It’s true because they heard it somewhere...end of story.
Sis-in-law was livid when Bush “just sat there for two minutes” after 9/11...TWO MINUTES!! I asked her why that made any difference. “I dunno...”....and yet it just upset her sooo much! I could give you several examples, but that’s just a classic example of how clueless they all are.
I’m with you....if I were a congressman or senator, I don’t think I could leave the room without banging a few heads together. /end rant
I loved hearing that we were in Iraq for oil with gas prices up near 5 bucks.
My response was, “So, how much did ya pay for gas today?”
They freaked out about the comment, but admitted that we weren’t getting any oil from Iraq.
I then needled them and stated that I had no problem with getting oil from Iraq, it would go a long way towards offsetting the cost of taking down Saddam and rebuilding their country.
They got angry about that too.
Lol! Yeah, that old story....we’re in Iraq for the oil!
