How ‘bout that SEC football
To: meandog
The “O” stands for OVER rated. The record of Big 10 teams against SEC is what? 0 for 9 tries since the BCS inception?

What IS it with the BCS poobahs that they simple HAVE to have Ohio State in the championship game if at all possible?

Mississippi State could've beaten Ohio State last night.
P.S. My "Mutt the Hoople" is a play on words because I'm a Mississippi State fan.

Hey, at least they’re good at proving who the real national champion is. Be careful of what you wish for. If you don’t have a Big 10 team around to schedule as a Designated Victory in a bowl game, you might actually have to play somebody who could beat you.

As an Ohio State fan, I can say we don’t care about your comments. As long as we beat Michigan, we have had a good season. Playing in the title game or Rose Bowl is just gravy—win or lose. So bite me.

Buckeyes fans are fond of breaking into impromptu group spelling bees, shouting out "O-H-I-O." When an SEC team shows up on the other sideline it should be "O-H-N-O." That's The OHNO State University!

LSU vs. USC, now THAT would have been a game!

They should be lamenting that Missouri was the better choice for the BCS Championship. But big money runs the BCS. Mizzou never gets any credit, even on a record season..

I almost fell out of my chair when the announcers were saying that this was a young Ohio State team and could be back in the title game next year. Please stop this insanity and implement a playoff system.
To: meandog
If any other team won enough games, they too could play in the BCS title game like the Buckeyes and the Tigers.
But they didn't, did they?
Buckeyes were picked 3rd in the Big 10 this year, btw.
WVA and Missouri could have played in the title game, but they folded. Have to win games to get the title game, right?
AP's final rankings has OSU #5 in a rebuilding year. Not bad.

Buckeyes not only choked big time again, they lost all self control as evidenced by the numerous personal fouls called.
Its embarrassing.

Oklahoma and Ohio State in the BCS Championship. Someone has GOT to win. To us this is the Big Choke Series.
To: meandog
Even my Connecticut or even West Virgina could do a good job beating OSU.
Also this bowl championship stuff makes the BCS look like a joke.
