The Hobbit Hole XXXV - ...is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
Posted on 01/03/2008 6:35:58 PM PST by HairOfTheDog
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!

Okay, so we had to go back and stop it frame by frame, but we saw Jr. In the scene where John Adams is riding through after the first battle, when he stops to find out what happened...Jr. is the second person to run behind him. He’s all a blur.
But hey, he got paid $100 for that blur...

Colonel Tigh is the tempermental military commander with a problem with the bottle. His wife is a social climber. It ain’t a compliment.
In other news, I’ll trade you IRS bills...

Just looking at your profile. Do you have your PostHoleDigger in Physics? That’s one subject that my hubby, SirKit, loves almost as much as Math.

I take it that you haven't gotten to the New Caprica sequence yet? Things sober up in a galloping hurry after that!

I get to call up HR and see about changing my withholding rate today so we don’t get a lovely surprise like that next year. Hopefully.
We hates the IRS, precious.

LOL! Love it.
I wish I’d thought before we gave the boys’ old smaller pool away last summer...I could’ve made it into a catfish pond.
Oh well...it has a kid that plays in it during the summer now...so I guess that’s good.

So a question for ya. So Jen has this shiny new RockRiver AR and man oh man is it nice to shoot. But .223 is not all that cheap right now what with the war and all. We got some fairly cheap ammo to take it out the first time but it was 55 grain. Now I know that the barrels these days are really rifled for 62ish grains and that will do a lot better but my question is just how much will that be noticeable? I mean we are not shooting 200 yards or anything and with the current sight it has even 50 yards is pretty is a inch or 5 MOA (big red dot). So do we care? I don't see how shooting 55 grains will do anything bad. Right?
It might be getting about time to buy a press. This sure is an expensive hobby.

Don’t forget we are already 3 months into the year. So with hold 1/4 more than you would otherwise.
