Sorry, but I do not share that belief. I think that Bush has so damaged the conservative movement and with the cheating and fraud that the Dimocrats will do this election, to insure that they win, we have little chance. Conservatives are rapidly and I mean RAPIDLY becoming the political minority in this country. With illegals voting with the pleasure of the Dimocrats, they will win. It is about power with them and they do not care how many laws they break, how much damage they will do to the country, they simply want power. I see little or no chance for our side to win this election. And you can bet your last dollar that if they have the White House and the Congress at the same time, they are going to pass every law they can to take away form up, ban whatever they can ban, appoint as many US District Court Judges for life, probably a couple of supremes, etc. the damage will be total. They will pass all kinds of taxing laws, taxing everything they can tax, talking away freedoms by the gallon. Yes, I think if they get into power this election, you will not recognize the nation in 4 years. The only reason they did not during Klinton was because republicans had the Congress and could prevent it, but not if they own the congress. I think we are going to lose our ass in the Senate races. Sorry, but everything I see and read, makes me believe that.

They remind me of Hugo Chavez. Give them half a chance and they’ll elect a democrat president-for-life and suspend the Constitution.

America’s been down before and yet She’s always gotten back to her feet.

I mean, think about it; if you went back in time to right after the Vietnam War and told people that in another four or five years, a man would be elected president who would kick the Soviets out of the ring, turn back the communist tide, re-energize the American spirit, fix the economy, and perform all the other miracles that Ronald Reagan brought about, do you think anyone would believe you? Heck, I bet even back then, the RATs felt they had America in the bag and nothing was ever going to get them out of power. Well, history has shown just how wrong they were.

We can’t lose hope and we can’t give up the fight. That’s what the RATs are hoping for; for all we know, everything you’ve read and heard is just a lot of hot air, nothing but a big gamble that’s riding on conservatives giving up...and we can’t let that die roll in favor of the Dems.

During my quest to become a firefighter, I came across a man who said something that has stuck in my mind; he said “Nothing counts ‘til you have that badge...nothing!” And I believe the same thing about this election; Nothing counts until the last ballot drops into the box. Until then, America and American conservatism still has a chance.

You mean the fact that many voters are about as dumb as a box of horsesh*t?

Bush isn't running for re-election, so why don't we just let his effect on conservatives go? Let's get our knickers out of their twists, and concentrate on those candidates we have. Some have some of Bush's good ideas, without his bad ones.

I support Fred Thompson, because I think he's the best of the bunch! No, he's not perfect, but then, neither was Reagan. We deal with what we have, and go with the best of those choices. Frankly ANY of them are superior to Obama or Her Heinous.

This is exactly the kind of things that both Fred Thompson and Duncan Hunter truly should of been saying right from the very beginnings of their Presidential campaigns: “The long-term future of the entire U.S. as a country is at stake! If you really want socialism and a “third world mess” on every issue, then vote for Democrats and “RINO” Republicans at every level now and for always! If you really want capitalism and “true commonsense” on every issue, then vote for “Conservative” Republicans at every level now and for always!”
