Frank Pringle has found a way to squeeze oil and gas from just about anything
Im not sure if Im watching a magic trick, or an invention that will make the cigar-chomping 64-year-old next to me the richest man on the planet. Everything that goes into Frank Pringles recycling machinea piece of tire, a rock, a plastic cupturns to oil and natural gas seconds later. Ive been told the oil companies might try to assassinate me, Pringle says without sarcasm.
The machine is a microwave emitter that extracts the petroleum and gas hidden inside everyday objectsor at least anything made with hydrocarbons, which, it turns out, is most of whats around you. Every hour, the first commercial version will turn 10 tons of auto wastetires, plastic, vinylinto enough natural gas to produce 17 million BTUs of energy (it will use 956,000 of those BTUs to keep itself running).

You can send your contribu... I mean investment checks directly to the inventor, to cut out the middleman.
Another ‘100 mpg’ carburetor?

My 65 year old Dad can squeeze out a lot of natural gas, too.
Ummmm..hasnt perpetual motion been looked into?
Same here. The quote about the ol companies asassinating him is a scam artist give-away, just like the 100 mpg carbs they have bought up and hidden all these years....
Ping for later
Only if 10 tons of auto waste doesn’t contain more than 17 million BTUs of energy. It seems it could, but I don’t know.
I was interested in this EXCEPT for the stupid comment about the oil companies “wanting to assassinate me,” he said “without sarcasm.”
I’m sick and tired of this quasimarxist mythos about the big evil company of the moment wanting to squash invention and keep people oppressed. In fact, the oil companies would love this microwave gadget, assuming that it works, since people will still have to purchase fuel somehow and the oil companies already have the gas stations, refineries, pipelines, and fuel trucks ready to supply and transport the fuel.
Exxon and Mobil are going to kill the guy. What a load of crap. That statement right there makes me think this guy is a nutcase, not a legitimate inventor. (I hope I’m wrong, though.)
A tire or a plastic cup I could believe. They are both made of a lot of complex carbon compounds and I could see them breaking down into various alkanes. The rock is where he jumped the perpetual energy shark.
a rock
I hope he is right, but I am not willing to invest my money yet.....................
Hey, whatever happened to Changing Worlds Technology, and their “trash into oil” thermal depolymerisation process?
bttt
For the record, even though the left side would appear to have the leverage advantage, note that there are 6 balls positioned left of center, and 8 on the right side (one centered at top) which offsets the leverage advantage.
In addition, the two balls at upper left would actually still be lying tight against the wheel, not spread out as show, further reducing the perceived advantage.
Plans are available for $29.99. I will even send you TWO copies of the plans for the same low price!
