Yep, because Georgia is an SEC team and the highest expectations are demanded the most from SEC teams.

For the sake of the integrity of the Big Ten, I only can hope that Louisiana State doesn’t run up the score like Georgia Tech against Cumberland (222-0, 1916).

Okay. Thanks. I knew it had been a very long time. Didn’t Dick Butkus take them to the Rose?

Holy Crap My Oklahoma State cowboys are on that danged NFL Nitwit television.
I have Time Warner probably the worlds worst for cable unless you consider the Havana Cable Company in Cuba as a competitor.
These people do not consider offering any kind of sports packages that humans want to watch unless it is the dullest game in the world Soccer, the corrupt NBA or womens basketball.

#83 Notre Dame (3-9) didn’t have six wins (3 < 6 even in South Bend) and so wasn’t bowl-eligible.

I only watched the first part of the Washington game, and if they could run pretty much at will, Geogia will keep Colt (who is very good) off the field with their amazing running game and frustrate them to no end.
That being said, I will root for Hawaii to win, they are fun to watch!

I figure there will be a ton of Navy folk at the game being that the game is in SD and all. If the game could have been moved to Saturday night I might have been able to fly down for it, but oh, well.

Will be a great fun game to watch between two deserving teams.
The score should be like Texas Tech 137 and Virginia 136.

As was said on the Bowl show today Oklahoma is probably playing the best Football In America.
Oklahoma's problem is it has played down to the level of it’s rivals, thats why they call Stoops Big Game Bob.
I Want A PLAYOFF NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!bwah, bwah, bwah, bwah, bwah s l o bering i n my beer.

I think the Big Ten is going to end up suffering three beatdowns by what are de facto home games: Michigan vs. Florida at the Florida Citrus Bowl in Orlando, FL (you know the majority of the stadium will be filled with Florida fans), Illinois vs. USC at the Rose Bowl (you know the majority of fans at the stadium will be USC fans) and Ohio State vs. LSU at the BCS Championship Game (you know the majority of fans at the stadium will be driving in from LSU 65 miles away). Ouch.

Hawaii deserves a better shot to prove themselves.
Courtesy comment:
Why does Hawaii deserve a better shot.
I watched Hawaii play a 4 win 7 loss Washington team and barely beat them.
I don’t mind Hawaii being in a meaningless bowl game cause the BCS wants to feel good.
But from what I saw last night Colt Brennan better bring more than his “A” game if they want to beat Georgia.
Next year Hawaii schedule somebody besides the Brownie Scout University varsity teams.

2nd tier...they are last place!
To: BurbankKarl
Okay, bottom of the second tier.....
Is that better?
My point was, they didn't really deserve that bowl game, right?

well, that is the deal they made with the non BCS conferences....
Surprised to see UCLA playing BYWho again. I wonder if Dorrell will be fired by then.
To: scott says
Championship is Jan 7 ! That is insane, 35 day from now. Way too much time off between bowl selection and the title game. That means Ohio State will have played its last game on November 17 and will have 50 days until the next game? Completely nuts.
I couldn't agree more. It's one more reason why the BCS is a farce. A playoff system would ensure teams play once a week and thereby maintain their consistency.

I don't think Ole Miss really earned a bowl game this year. They didn't, Mississippi State, however did!

Surprised to see UCLA playing BYWho again. The proper term is "The Parochial Stench" or "The Team Down South". "BYWho" is, like, so 1993, dude. :)
