I can't believe that USC is so low. I would have put them atleast at the front of the 2 loss teams. But USC did lose to a bad Stanford team (that even lost to ND).

It's pretty simple. OSU wants Missouri or WVA to lose and UGA wants them both to lose.

Yes. And WV. They've earned it.

If we had a coach, we would be 11-1 this year.

Hawaii gets screwed. If they beat Washington next weekend, and I’m betting they do, they will be the only perfect team at 12 and 0, yet, they probably wont be in the top ten. Not only that but Cold Brennen (quarterback) is nominated for the Heisman and he doesn’t even get mentioned. bummer!

They did not fare too well against my Gators last year.

“The SEC is TOUGH!!!!”

Yes it is! It is by far the toughest conference in the country. Put WVU in the SEC and they are playing for an Independence Bowl bid.

How are you Ohioans gonna handle the trauma two years in a row?

“No, I’m afraid Cardinal and Gold will hold sway—and Hugh Hewitt will once again have to eat crow on his radio program.”

I honestly believe the Bucks will make the title game. I think Oklahoma is better than Missouri and I think Pitt has at least an even money chance of beating WVU. As Pat White goes, so goes WVU, if you can stop him, or he has a bad night WVU loses.
The Bucks are a solid team. They looked past Illinois and got beat by a pretty good team. When OSU faced Purdue, the national buzz was Purdue was an awesome offense... not so much. When OSU faced Penn State in Happy Valley, the national buzz was OSU can’t stand up to a team like PSU in such hostile conditions... not so much. When OSU played Wisconsin, the buzz was Wisconsin was a solid and legit team that would expose OSU... not so much.
After OSU beat each of those at the time, ranked, teams, those teams struggled. Beat up maybe? Who knows.

Jim Tressel is the best, and the Buckeyes have only 2 or 3 starting seniors. USC will get the Bucks during the season next year... be careful what you wish for.

Bent Pusburger was born May 1939. I agree he is pretty bad, but not half as bad as that atrocious crew ESPN has on Monday nights. And ESPN really barfs you out with Berman before, during (halftime), and after the game.

Arkansas, a team with FOUR losses, beat a grossly overrated LSU team (that has barely survived a number of scares and who accepted a win handed to them by an apparently victorious Alabama team). Neither is really a top 20 team.

But it could be worse. At least they don't still have Olberman on their staff.

The Buckeyes will be practicing that day for the BCS Championship in New Orleans.

That's all we need. Another Ohio State humiliation in the BCS game! No thank you. The Big Ten need to take their beatings in lesser bowls.

“They did not fare too well against my Gators last year.”

Turns out that about 1/2 the Bucks decided it was party time, let the rankings go to their heads, as do most of the BCS #1’s. Look it up, the #2 team wins most of the time, including in 2002 when a Buckeye team that wasn’t supposed to be on the same field shut down a “powerful, dominant, explosive” Miami team.

Oh, how did those Gators do this year? 3 losses won’t get it done.

NO. Mizzou wins the rematch against the Sooners.

Should be interesting, depends on which Sooner teams shows up. I don’t know if our D-End will be back, he’s been out 2 weeks and it shows. It’s hard to beat someone twice, but we’ve seen the spread offense 2 weeks in a row which should help. One thing I’ve noticed about the spread offense, they get wore out in the 4th quarter just like defenses do.

The game last night was a great game, but I thought Kansas was the better team. They just shot themselves in the foot too many times early. Another 5 minutes and Kansas wins because Missouri was worn out.

If you beat us next week then good luck and win it all. Congrats for making it to number one! Hope it only last a week. Boomer Sooner!

Too bad there isn’t a playoff. I’d like the Gator’s chances if they opened it up to the Top 16 teams in the BCS poll. We’d give anybody a tough game, and even our defense has shown some improvement, since the UGA game.

You are right, Olbermann is triple barf threat. I can’t even watch NBCs pregame and halftime programs and I do like Collingsworth.

THE OHIO STATE is THE OVER-RATED TEAM

I agree. OSU lost to #19 Illinois but Kansas lost to #1.

Kansas should be ranked higher than OSU.
