How do you italicise excerpts from someone's post when you reply?

See the spaces I put in there? Take them out. Then, when you want to do the paragraph below the quote, put < p> without the space, of course.Thanks Brad's Gramma and all others. It works.

You have to enclose the text to be italicized between "< i >" and "< /i >", like this: italicizedSo you're saying this: (here's my exerpt) < i > < /i > won't work?

Sorry. Flashback to before JohnRob's code automagically closed them for you. We could get entire threads that blinked or slowly marched left to right while about a dozen FReepers threw HTML code at it to get it to stop. Once in awhile the cure was worse than the disease.
You gotta watch out for some tags. We had a FReeper named Classy Green-eyed Blonde whose multicolor fonts performed a sex change operation on her/him. Bummer.
