Hope you feel better, real soon, Cardi!
And thank you for your concern for my daddy!
That´s it yorkie — I missed yew. :)
Jaggers and Co just went for their guns.
Awwww, Cardy, that's not fair. Now you know I was just funnin' you. After all, I had just spent the weekend babying tending an injured man.
Ok Sweets you are excused you have done your bit for MANkind.
Hold on, now.... Brady is just a quarterback, not a saint. He squired one actress around for a while, dumped her after fathering a child and then moved on to a supermodel. Not exactly a choirboy. :)
Tom Bradys ex-girlfriend gave birth to a son not a torpedo Wednesday in Los Angeles. Let the child support negotiations begin.Details about the birth were not released, but we wonder if all she had to do was press a red button and launch her baby out of the womb.
The Patriots quarterback and the actress split last December after nearly three years of dating. Brady wasnt on the market long. He started dating the worlds richest supermodel soon after his split from his first childs mother.
Brazilian model Gisele Bundchen told a British tabloid that she was excited about the upcoming birth of her boyfriends child. Im guessing she probably wasnt invited to the baby shower, but she did pick up the NFL studs son a few things from Baby Dior and Gucci.
Zat right? While its true that neither Romo or Peyton are close to being as handsome as Brady but I don't recall that either one has an illegitimate child.
Now what SEC team did he play for again?"
Hey, Brady is a star and a great quarterback. No question about that. :)
Ok, now, my turn... :)
4 words: Peyton Manning, Eli Manning.
Oh, shoot, why not 2 more words (for good measure): JaMarcus Russell
SEC leads other conferences in NFL starters
By Jonathan Finney The Daily Reveille, September 14, 2007
Baton Rouge, LA (CSTV U-WIRE) Perhaps Southeastern Conference is not an appropriate name for the nations Southern football powerhouse.
Maybe Structure of Emphatic Consistency better describes a conference that has systematically churned out NFL prospects and standouts.
And as of week one of the 2007 NFL season, pro teams rely more on former SEC players than they do on players from any other conference.
Out of 768 possible starters among the 32 teams of the NFL, 130 starters hail from SEC schools, which accounts for 16.9 percent of the leagues starters.
The data was compiled from each NFL teams depth chart to open the 2007 season. Each starter received his conference designation based on his schools current conference, not necessarily the same as the conference when he left for the NFL.
NFL Draft analyst Mike Detillier said he was not surprised that former SEC players have entrenched themselves in the worlds premier football league. He said the conferences commitment to excellence has provided a launching pad from which its former players jump into the league.
Winning teams produce a tremendous amount of pro players, Detillier said. Its shuffled all over the league what SEC football does to the league.
The effects former SEC players have on the NFL have certainly been far-reaching. Each team in the NFL starts at least one former SEC player, a distinction that no other conference in the nation can claim.
The conference with the next highest total is the Atlantic Coast Conference, which links 113 starters to its name. The Big 10 Conference ranks third with 112 starters and the Big 12 and Pac-10 conferences round out the top five, with 87 and 81 former players as starters, respectively.
The Big East Conference, a Bowl Championship Series conference, has only 42 former players to represent its conference on the starting level.
Since conferences have different numbers of teams per conference, some 12-team conferences may be seen as having a percentile advantage to an eight-team conference. As a result, the number of players per team in the conference was determined.
Once again, the SEC led all other conferences with 10.8 starters per team. The starters per each team in the rest of the BCS conferences are as follows: Big 10 (10.2), ACC (9.4), Pac-10 (8.1), Big 12 (7.3) and Big East (5.3).
The SEC also leads other conferences in the number of starters at certain positions. The conference boasts the most starting quarterbacks, defensive linemen, cornerbacks and strong safeties and is tied for the highest number of starting running backs.
The ACC has generated the highest number of starting linebackers, and the Big 10 has produced the highest number of starting wide receivers.
The NFL team starting the most SEC players is the Washington Redskins, whose eight SEC starters account for one-third of the teams first unit. The Philadelphia Eagles and the San Francisco 49ers both start seven former SEC standouts.
Detillier said a number of factors have enabled the SEC to separate itself from the rest of the pack. The primary factor, Detillier said, is the conferences emphasis on defense.
I dont think theres another conference in the college football that plays defense like they play in the SEC, Detillier said.
Detillier recounted a meeting he had with former Florida and current South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier, whose offensive innovations still color the conference.
Detillier said when he asked Spurrier about the difference between the SEC and other conferences, the offensive mastermind did not laud strong-armed quarterbacks or wrecking ball running backs as the keys to success in the SEC.
[Spurrier] said, You cannot win in the SEC unless you can play great defense, and he said, That to me is the biggest difference that you see from Pac-10, Big 10, Big 12, Big East, Detillier said.
Detillier said another factor accounting for the SECs influence is the caliber of the conferences players. He said in the past six years, the SEC has produced 79 first and second-round picks, while only 50 Pac-10 players were drafted in the same rounds.
Thats a huge difference of upper-echelon players heading to the NFL, and that tells you the caliber of players [in the SEC], Detillier said.
Detillier said this difference in talent between the SEC and the Pac-10 justified LSU head coach Les Miles for questioning the competition USC faces on its road to the championship.
What [Miles] said in the off-season was absolutely 100 percent correct, Detillier said. [USC has] an easier ride to the national championship and doesnt play the level of competition week-in and week-out that LSU does, and Im convinced of that.
Philadelphia Eagles punter Saverio Rocca, former Australian Rules Football punter, is the only NFL starter who did not attend college.
The number of starters from other conferences include the Mountain West conference, with 29; Conference USA, with 28; the MAC, with 24; the WAC, with 22; and the Sun Belt, with 11.

aaaaw, cardy, I’m so sorry that you’ve been feeling a little puny. Hope you’re feeling great again soon :)
Thanks Darlin’ I will be in fine fettle in a couple of days.
Thats good news, do take care of yourself.
Glad you’re feeling better, Cardi....and good you’re on some meds...you should be feeling much better after another day taking those....
Good thing. I'd hate to have to have show the not so soft side of my personaility.
I do hope you're feeling better, Cardy.
Although you deny it now, like all the rest you will flee the frozen wasteland when retirement or good sense strike, whichever comes first.
And the fact that your beloved bluebellies beat last year's national champs does not trump the fact that LSU--not frequent Michigan slayer Ohio State--is the new national champion.
What she said.
You are a sick woman, Darlin’.
I’ll say this for him. When he gets ‘em pregnant, he gets ‘em pregnant.
