This bed rest is messing up my clock, it is 3:55am and I am up again, still sniffling and watery eyed. I have to get some more meds then back to the Zoo bed.
Poor old dears they have trouble tending to themselves these days Since Merchie, the oldest, died they have deteriorated rapidly, but at 91 and 87 that is to be expected.
Anyway Sweets, I am quite capable of surviving a bout of flu with the right medication, the which I have in sufficiency.
Now as to R, " I spent the weekend playing nursemaid...cooking, cleaning, giving massages, keeping the firewood stocked and the fire going, etc.," it does seem that he has the right idea.

For geriatrics and bluehairs.......it is true that you need flat spaces to prevent heart attacks. And hot, disgustingly humid temps to keep you inside so as not to strain yourselves.

Well guys I am up again after almost all day of bed rest. I have just come back from getting some real meds as it seems to be lingering on, although it is fine when I am in bed.
I hear you have to feed a cold so I am going to cook up something to make sure I have all bases covered.
Yorkie, I am glad to hear that your father is back in fighting spirits - that will be a big help for the operation to come.

I think I have whooping cough - started last night - and I will not be going to the hosp. today to see my dad. I hope I can kick this thing before his surgery.

No yorkie, just a touch of the flu - I have had it about three days now so it will soon have run its course. I am just making a song and dance about it to see if I can get sympathy from the ladies.
