Consider the numbers: USC hadn’t lost at home in 36 games. The Trojans were 41-point favorites over Stanford. Now know this: the Cardinal beat John David Booty and No. 2 USC 24-23 on Saturday night, the Trojans’ first loss at L.A. Coliseum since 2001 ... to Stanford.

If LSU loses to FLA, then does anyone deserve to be No. 1?
What a year to bet only dogs.

Sorry, I put #1 instead of #2. I’m just so used to “#1 USC,” “#1 USC,” “#1 USC,” ever durn week, I forgot it dropped down to #2.

For San Diego’s Jim Harbaugh, not a suprise.
He was great as coach of the Univ. of San Diego, undefeated

You must be a Stanford fan! :>)Not really -- When it comes down to Stanford vs. Cal, I'm a Cal fan. But I'm always a fan of the team playing USC!

Don’t the first BCS rankings come out this week? That should be interesting.

There's room for Indiana University at 5-1 to move right into the top ten, ahead of Illinois.

41-point underdog? I think that's the largest spread ever.
Syracuse was a 35 1/2 under-dog to Louisville several weeks ago.
