And here I thought I’d been called everything on these threads. Well, just goes to show you, I’m not always right.

That’s interesting. I didn’t realize the practice went back to the time of Abraham. Thanks.

If only 3 out of 1000 males chooses to be circumcised after age 18, it is still far higher than the rate of Lieberals who actually move to the dictatorial worker’s paradises for which they advocate.

Acts 7:8 Then He gave him the Covenant of circumcision, and under this Covenant he became the father of Isaac—whom he circumcised on the eighth day. Isaac became the father of Jacob, and Jacob became the father of the twelve Patriarchs.

I think parents should be more aware of the possible problems with the healing of circumcisions so that they can make an informed decision. There are some common problems with circs that most people don’t know about until it happens to their child. I know because it happened to one of mine.

Adult men are not going to have this done voluntarily.Hah! Tell that to all the guys in Viet Nam that had it done to stop the misery of insanely itching jungle rot. No, they were not forced to do it, and the results were a clear validation of a very good reason to have it done.

Apples and oranges, friend. Cutting off a little skin is very different from injecting a virtually untested drug into a prepubescent child. Signed, DES baby. (Keep that in mind if you want to tell me how safe the new vaccine might be.)

Thank you. I appreciate your providing the text.
On that basis alone it would seem to be important, an issue of faith.

I haven’t seen a study that corrects for socio-economic factors, but I know that, as in so many cases, correlation does not equate to causation.
Also, post #11 mentions prevention of several diseases that are also preventable by celibacy, monogamy, and just plain good hygiene.
Other than Old Testament teaching, I still have a hard time finding a good reason for doing this.

Sorry to hear of that. I wonder what the incidence of complications are statistically. It would seem that precentage wouldn’t be very high if proper technique were adhered to.

But the most vociferous objections I hear about HPV inoculation is that it is against a STD, not that the inoculation is unsafe. A poster listed the numerous diseases that inoculations are compulsory for, and other posters gleefully pointed out that none of THEM were for a STD. Another said “Just because your daughter may be a slut doesn’t mean mine is.”

Without the help of pushy “public interest” groups.

...how does one sign up for a study like that? You might want to ask them about neurological instrumentation first. This is a Wartenberg Wheel:

I would know b/c I never
"met" (read: slept) with one.
I did see a pierced one once.
What's an RR?
