Cutting and pasting is a crude description of digital mastering. But watching his computer system reminded me of that.

Computers are hooked into recording soundboards. The studio is full of mic’s, cords, sound baffles, wall baffles and stand-alone baffles.

It’s an acoustically dead space which is what is wanted. When we come to the end of a song and strike the last chord we must all remain completely silent until the fade out is complete. Or the mic’s will pic up the creak of a chair, breaths, etc.

It’s dry here, rain needed.

Teeny tiny prayer request for whoever might see this.............

I’m having some oral surgery done tomorrow...........no biggie.............just removal of a mysterious lump, which will then be biopsied. They’re not expecting anything significant.

I had a choice between local anesthetic and sedation....................I chose local................I’m not TOO much of a wussy....so...........we’ll see what happens.

Surgery is @ 2:30 tomorrow.

MP, you should see my collection of the 50’s records, loved and still love it, some of that ‘cheek rubbing’ music.

I was the kind who went to one of the dances in the early 50’s and the chaperone's, meanest old ladies of town, would caution me to ‘back off’ when dancing. I use to try slipping a shade of ‘dirty dancing’ in but those ole biddies would clean my plow, know what it was, they were jealous THEY wanted to be dancing with m.

Talking about knees, I got my first cortisone(?) shots in my knees and go back in two weeks. They started hurting today and in the process of putting some heat on them.

Nothing yet, not having much luck in getting the 6 week old boy, the mother has named I think so far 15 possible daddy. Not sure about him,TJ, we are just waiting on the paper work to come back from the AG’S office in Jackson, MS. has been accepted but has not been sent back to us YE, oh the state government, no hurry on anything.
