I am. I think! LOL!
I was thinking of just curling up with a good book for the afternoon, since I can’t seem to get my stomach to settle down, but I’ll wait a bit. Maybe a beer would help...sometimes, that works on the nausea like nothing else does, so I’ll try it.
Did the guys run on the 4th? I thought you mentioned someone was going to, but I don’t recall if you updated us on that.

Husband and three kids ran on the 4th. All did okay, but nobody won anything.
We have a big thunderstorm coming this way. Der Prinz is trying to get a pork roast on the grill before the downpour starts. I’ve got Cuban beans on the stove.
My mom’s taken 4 children to see “Ratatouille.”

I hear that movie is hilarious!
My son’s family has decided that Grandma Mac is THE DVD queen, so when there is a day for celebration, I get “orders” for certain movies.
I’m still working on getting my own Pixar library up to speed!

Mom buys us lots of DVD’s, too, although I rarely ask. When we told Pat he couldn’t go to the movie, he said, “Fine. I will see it when I get the DVD.”

LOL!
Sometimes, it’s difficult for me to go to the theater and sit, so if a movie looks good, I’ll wait till the DVD comes out and just buy it. I’ve seldom ever had buyer’s remorse.
Of course, since my big TV was stolen, it’s not as much fun to watch movies...I miss the stereo sound. And the extra bass. And clearer details.
(Maybe after I get back from Utah, I’ll get another one.)

I rarely go to a movie. I’d rather sit at home, even with an old TV with mono-sound, so I can control the volume, the temperature, and the trips to the bathroom.
They all liked “Ratatouille.”

I’ve been to three movies in the last 15 years: The LOTR movies. Then I bought the DVDs. And the companion CD’s are almost as good as the movies!
But I’m with you...I’d rather be really comfortable! Besides: If I get too tired, I can go to bed and watch the rest of it tomorrow!

LOL, I concur on the Midwest.
Which is (in part) why I'm in Seattle.
FINALLY finished rough draft and first editing pass. Whew! I can come up for air... and go to the library.

Yup. Virginia-born.
Some years after we'd moved to Michigan a girl from Virginia joined our elementary class, and the two of became the class librarians. My parents couldn't figure out why I suddenly had a Virginian accent again.

I’ve lived on both coasts, both borders, lots of places in between, and even Alaska. Not to mention Germany.
I think I still have a map on my bio page....

LOL! We do that!
Meet people with accents and yours starts leaning toward theirs. It is amazing how you notice but they don’t. I do it and am still lousy at dialects.
