Yup. Virginia-born.
Some years after we'd moved to Michigan a girl from Virginia joined our elementary class, and the two of became the class librarians. My parents couldn't figure out why I suddenly had a Virginian accent again.

I’ve lived on both coasts, both borders, lots of places in between, and even Alaska. Not to mention Germany.
