Hubby just spent 10 minutes explaining why that guy isnt dead, and I still dont get it.Electricity is always looking for a way to get back to earth. As long as you don't provide a path to the earth, you'll be okay.

I used to be afraid of heights. Then I went to work doing Industrial Piping Design. I had to climb all over the towers and pipe racks at refineries. I won’t say the cure was 100%; I still get the willies being up high, but as long as there’s a way to tie off, I’m able to function.
I don’t do high work, anymore; I’m in a different industry, now. But if I couldn’t stand it, it would be because of physiology, not psychology.

We’ve got all our food! Some of the family are racing tomorrow; I’m not sure which. I’m doing baby-watching.

The local Calvary Temple congregation puts on an annual “Singing Flag” complete with the big choir, soloists, costumed dancers and other cast, with appropriate vehicles (tractors, fire trucks, and a WWII military jeep), and — and it wouldn’t be a proper Independence Day without this last one — a solitary bugler.
They set this up in one of the largest parks in the area and run it three evenings in a row. It draws three to four THOUSAND people a night, and every performance culminates in a 20-minute firework show. It’s a citywide tradition to go to the Singing Flag.
They’ve even got a little video promo for the event on the church homepage. Check it out:

BTW: All of the blankets you see spread on the grass in that video were probably placed the night before by folks staking their turf for the next day’s performance.

I have a picture I took in Wyoming of a Moose in the wild.
I was 4,000 feet away from it. Almost zero horizontally.
I also have a picture looking straight down that 4,000 foot sheer face. Incredible rush!
Getting on a 20 ft extension ladder scares the living crap outta me.
