Pure acetone?
Personally, I use perfumed nail polish remover as it makes the exhaust smell pretty.

I prefer beer. It has better emissions.

I wonder if this thread is going to get zotted at all. The poster is obviously not a very sharp person (to say the least) and FReepers are compassionate, if not anything else.

You will not get better gas mileage from acetone until you learn to properly write a simple declaritive and at least semi-literate sentence.
That would be a good start to better gas mileage, saving the precious “environment” and preventing so called “global warming?.

Just in case anybody is taking this troll seriously...
1. Acetone has a lower heat content than gasoline but costs more. It is not economical. Or magic.
2. If you uses enough of it you can actually be charged for the missing fuel taxes you are avoiding.
3. Acetone can be harmful to a variety of gaskets, Orings and hoses etc.

Actually most nail polish remover is acetone free because of health issues.

Thats about as vintage as a bottle of Ripple from the backroom of a Watts liquor store. Vintage used as year of manufacture... not in the "classic car" sense.
