The diamond shape shows that AR is the only state where diamonds can be found.
The 25 stars around the border of the flag represent that AR was the 25th state to join the Union.
The three bottom stars represent the countries that had earlier ruled the land that includes Arkansas.
The top single star does indicate that AR was in the Confederate States of America.

Of course, my comment was not meant to denigrate Arkansas in any way. The state was part of the Confederacy, it is true. It makes no sense to deny history.
My point was that PC thugs on the left are constantly hectoring North Carolina and other states about Confederate imagery and symbols, and Hillary! Rodham (Clinton) can parade around in front of a flag that puts a star representing the Confederacy in a place of honor, and nobody calls her on it.
I really wish that Illinois would have kept their trash at home. Billy Bob would never have been Prez without her. He would probably been a shyster lawyer with commercials on TV trying to drum up fraudulent law suits.

You're one of the few who notice. Wasn't it funny, when the Clintons were in the White House, and the Confederate Battle Flag was under attack, no one from that side pointed out that their home state flag was really the same thing?
