Contact the White House? Don't bother
World Net Daily ^ | June 21, 2007 | Marylou Barry

If you think the government ignores you when you want to know something, imagine how WorldNetDaily columnist Jerome Corsi must feel. His best-seller "Unfit for Command," exposing John Kerry's Vietnam war record, contributed handily to President Bush's 2004 re-election bid. Yet in 2007, Corsi's continued investigative reporting has turned up some shocking allegations about Bush's activities as president – and now the White House won't give him the time of day.

Maybe it’s because he writes for WND.

Well, that's not news. There have been so-called shocking allegations about Bush's activities as President since he took office. All it takes to make an allegation is to find someone willing to accuse someone of something. Facts? What are facts?

That the President declined to respond to the author’s questions is a silly issue. That the President decided to push ahead with a plan that the House of Representatives disapproved of by a vote of 401-3 says volumes. No, Congress as a whole did not act; the Senate did not take up the measure. Therefore, the President is within his authority. And if Congress rreeeeaaally felt the issue was urgent, the Senate would’ve taken up the measure. But the Senate, by its inaction, is endorsing President Bush... which only means that the Senate is absolutely corrupt. What speaks more is the size of the vote indicates the House knows damned well what the public wants, but both the Senate and the President are content to piss on the peasants.

It dont matter anymore because GWB had his mind already made up on this Illegal Immegrent issue. He knows he is killing the GOP but he dont care. He has this large crush on Mexicans.
The House and Senate dont care. They spend thier lives in DC and only come home maybe three times a year. The rest they spend in thier mansions trying to figure out more ways to rape the taxpayers.

So in other words, keep up the pressure on Congress. We’re wasting our time contacting Jorge.

I live in MA. I could write to Ted Kennedy, and I could write to Bush — but I think I’ll save the postage!

Corsi has been a kook for a while. He writes this sensationalist nonsense based on twisted facts. He writes to the same brainless crowd on the right as does Micheal Moore on the left.

So what? His points were still valid. Bush, Rove, and their gang have no use for Mr. Corsi as Jorge isn’t running for re-election. That’s also why he is busy giving his conservative supporters the proverbial middle finger.

True but what does that have to do with amnesty for criminal aliens and the questions re: border enforcement?

Border enforcement is a necessity for any nation; the fact that no attacks have happened since 911 does NOT negate the fact that a fence is definitely needed.

Did the White House give Jerome Corsi "the time of day" before he became critical of the president's policies?

Does Jerome Corsi expect to be paid back in some form by the White House for penning Unfit For Command?

Would the President have been re-elected if Jerome Corsi did not write Unfit for Command?

Does Jerome Corsi expect the WH to respond to every columnist/pundit?

Who is Jerome Corsi (in the grand scheme of things)? What kind of access does he want? A response to an email?

There needs to be more context other than "the White House won't give him the time of day."
