It's so nice (and refreshing) to see people loving Bush. :)

They're looking forward to their Z Visas. ;)

Yeah, but I bet the security guys are crapping diamonds after that little jaunt into the crowd.... ;-)

They don’t need no stinking Z-visa. Just get across the border and they will never have to go home!

Another sign of the BBC being biased. Their correspondent (traveling with Bush and co.) made it seem as though the American security service wasn't letting people near Bush (it could be inferred that the correspondent was suggesting that this was Bush's decision) and that they were stuck up (flying over the President's limo, and asking the Albanian guards to surrender their weapons).

These are great pictures to contrast with that article.

Too bad it’s a crowd that loves him only because he’s still intent on Clinton’s project of giving Christian land to Muslims.

If he were to extend his one good foreign policy initiative—opposing the Islamist expansionism—to the Balkans, they’d be shooting at him instead.

Come to think of it some Albanians don’t need a reversal of our wrong-headed Balkan policy: the Fort Dix Six are an expression of Muslim Albanian gratitude.

That, about says it all.

Spanish TV claims in a video his watch is stolen as he is among the crowd. But I can't see his watch on at all in any of the crowd pictures above, so perhaps he took it off before he went to shake hands as a precaution?

He is, however, wearing his watch when he first arrives to the town - seen in this picture:

Bush’s wristwatch disappeared while he shakes hands with Albanian citizen
11 June 2007 | 19:22 | FOCUS News Agency

Tirana. US President George Bush lost his wristwatch while he was shaking hands with Albanian citizen yesterday on his visit to Albania, Spanish agency EFE informed according to local TV channels information. Televisions broadcast a video that shows that while Bush greeting Albanian citizens, his watch disappears. Although the White House denies information that US President has lost his watch.

Don’t be fooled——Albanians were doing the same thing for Enver Hoxha—the mass murderer tyrant in commie times.

Watch the video from YouTube. Sure looks like his watch disappeared to me.

Could be editing/combining of several videos over a long period of time, though. Maybe.

So are you suggesting that any Albanians that did not turn out for President Bush would have gotten a visit from the Sigurimi, as would have been the case under Hoxha?

Albanians are pro-American LONG before Clinton’s reign and the chaos in Bosnia/Kosovo.

Albania was once one of the worst, most dictatorial countries. Now they are free and they haven’t forgotten that America liberated them.
