We will not falter, we will not tire, we will not fail!
My cat seems to have taken an interest in the start of the new thread...
The plan is that this thread will take care of us thru the end of the week, Friday.
And once again, I want to express my strong appreciation for the Chairman who led us for 2,000+ days! That's an amazing record of faithfulness and dedication.
Cool beans.
So we have more than a chance of getting this way up over 200+ posts.
Good morning, Molly!
The grandkids are getting totally out-of-control excited about our trip to Disney World on Friday.
It was really nice of you to take over the ATRW duties so that the thread can keep running. I sure do remember when you ran it before, back in the last years of Clinton! Seems like time sure has flown!
It’s very cool here this morning, so I will be outside getting as much yard work done as possible.
Everyone have a great day!
Thank you for the start, Molly!
Check your freepmail later this morning.
I have to go get my hair cut/colored/foiled later this morning.
I got stupid and tried to grow it out...for all the wrong reasons.
Off it goes!!!
Travel safely, Jem!
Will be anxious to hear from you once you’ve landed in the USA.
How about some breakfast pizza!!
YUM, YUM, lysie. Now I can skip the visit to my kitchen. LOL
Rain here, then dropping temps...
I'll look for that note later, Nita. Thanks
I always thought that as we got older life would settle a little. Not so. I feel as though I'm on a roller coaster ride. LOL
Professor, 59, off to war in Afghanistan Godspeed and blessings to him
Fateful Voice of a generation still drowns out real scienceRachel Carson...
Adolescent Intellectuals Tom Sowell
I pray that this can be resolved smoothly and rapidly.
Well, the Yankees...my experience is that in bad years, you look for and treasure the individual, outstanding efforts and hang on to those to get you thru. For example I saw the spectacular catch the Yankees centerfielder made early in Sunday night's game. He robbed - was it Manny? - of a sure extra base hit...
Yesterday was my singing group's picnic and end of year meeting...Learned that one of my friends is dying from brain cancer. She had surgery 3 weeks ago, and the drs. have broken the news to her. And another friend's house basically burned down last week while they were out of town....electrical fire...scarey,no?
Lysie--the turmoil surrounds a major reorganization. These things are never fun, and this one seems particularly trying. I'll be fine, it's just a matter of time.
TA DAAA!! I am going to walmart today with Trevor Jason, really not fair, he gets what he wants but ‘D in charge’ tells me ‘watch my money, don’t need this, don’t need that’ but ho hum, I get it anyway. I have to say, she is right 99% of the time.
Our new posting is going to be just fine, two reasons, we have excellent people to guide us don this path and the other, we are all friends, friends just don’t fade off into the sunset.
We all know how old cars are, first this thing stops working, that thing putters, don’t run on all cylinders. Well, that is me, my right knee has started hurting me all the time and it does look like I will have to see the ‘grim reaper’, my doctor. Been using some rub but it is not working. Like I said, this old car is kinda wearing out but at 71, what can you expect.
I told you that my Tom turkey died. I watched the hen and she was pawing at him trying to get him off the ground, I mean she would not leave him until I buried him.
Shack cleaning today, lets see now, will take about 15 minutes (this cleaning might take a little longer) and have got to put some liquid chicken ‘stuff’ around my plants in the garden, they say it is better than anything you can use so, hope it is there tomorrow after feeding it.
Have a good and safe say, a happy one and a love one.
Toby
Invite, tell folks to join us, I surely do.
HeHeHe, THANKS!
Thanks for the start Molly. A appreciate it.
After a long time here in Iraq, I took a two week leave. It was a wonderful time to get back together with my family, and to ask my girlfriend to marry me. Fortunately she said yes, and so now she is my fiance. I would have posted the news sooner, but I had to spend two weeks out on a mission.
Such sad news.
