Wonder if they'll try to wrap up any of the plot lines in Jericho, or if they'll just let it abruptly end.

Would like to know what the state of the rest of the country was after the atomic bombs.

Too expensive for the Sci-Fi channel. There would have to be major, major changes. Look at how much of that show is shot outside and how many extras there are. That’s big bucks.

Given the final season episodes have already been shot, wouldn’t count on any wrapping up unless the studio decides to buy a 1 shot 2 hour movie or something.... which they rarely do.

As long as Lost, Scrubs and StarGate(The original not that idiotic Atlantis) stays on, I am a happy camper. Too bad they axed Alias and Firefly.

What's amazing, although given the current crop of tv watchers maybe it isn't, is that they are going to put on Bionic woman, didn't they get enough of Bionic Dog, Cat, Boy and Girl?

How the hell is 1 tree hill picked up, and Girlfriends.... jeez.

I think Jericho should shop itself to the CW or something, just like Buffy did a few years back. It certainly pulls in more eyeballs that those 2 shows above.... they are bad.

But its all relative 2-3Million on CW is great, on ABC it sucks.... If I was CW I’d be trying to pick up some of the majors cancelations that had decent followings. Jericho seems like a decent choice.

10-11 p.m. JOURNEYMAN (new show): From 20th Century Fox TV; writer/executive producer Kevin Falls (formerly West Wing); starring Kevin McKidd as the lead; sci-fi romantic fantasy about a man who travels back in time to alter and fix the lives of people in trouble and sometimes affect the future.

(MOndays NBC)

Sounds like Quantum Leap returns.....

The producers said that they were going to move the show in a different direction in order to get new viewers, and killing Major Dad was a way to do that.

I am obviously not in their target market.

I hate to be the one to break it to you, but SciFi did not renew Stargate SG-1. My understanding is that there are a couple of movies planned, and the producers have talked about trying to move the show (back) to Showtime, but nothing firm just yet.

Vorenus lives! That'll be worth a look.

I am very disappointed about Jericho. It was the only network series I’ve gotten into in a long time.

I was very interested to see what would happen between Hawkins and Col. Hoffman next season. Oh well.

I really liked Johnston too, in fact, I thought he was the best character on the show. But what I read was that the show was going to shift away from Jericho (and the Who Dropped the Bombs mystery) and towards the rebuilding of the rest of the country.

I definitely disagree with their decision to kill Green, but it does allow some plot closure in Jericho and open up the storyline for the rest of the characters, Jake especially.

"CRIMINAL MINDS."

Wow, a series about the Democrat Party.

It's about time.

Wonder if they'll try to wrap up any of the plot lines in Jericho, or if they'll just let it abruptly end.

That type of activity has killed several recent series-type programs. Viewers have gotten burned, getting to a series and having it cancelled with any unanswered questions. So, viewers rejected some of the new ones, because they didn't want to get involved and have them cancelled.

The networks seem fast on the cancellation trigger on some of the new programs. Some only ran 3 or 4 times before they got canned.

I know, just trying to forget that part :) But this season at least it's still on.

...forced, by events, toward the right. I guess that was too much for liberal Hollywood to accept.

Hmmm, I hadn't thought about it that way.

Maybe that's why I got into it.

"HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER is renewed."

Great. Another season of smutty TV promo commercials during football games.

That's an idea.

When JAG was first broadcast, it was on NBC. NBC decided not to renew it for a 2nd season (IIRC). CBS picked it up --- and made a fortune from it.

Hopefully they'll focus more on the terrorist killin' and less on the awful wives' subplots.

I'm a guy and have found the wife subplots far more interesting than the wooden field scenes. Dennis Haysbert seems robotic on that show, whereas on "24" he stole every single scene. Meanwhile, "24" has turned south without him.
