What's Your Favorite Television Show?
Posted on 05/15/2007 8:52:16 AM PDT by HungarianGypsy
I don't watch too much television, but one of my favorite shows is Supernatural on the CW.
So, I was just curious about what other Freepers like to watch.

Funny Videos and the old Twilight Zones. Speaking of test patterns,I miss the flag flying as the National Anthem played at about 2 in the morning. Anybody remember a show from the early 1970’s called “Speak Easy”? Chip Monk, the announcer from Woodstock emceed a talk show for musicians of the day like Billy Joel,Jackson Brown, & Steve Miller. They would talk and play their songs. It came on Saturdays at one in the morning.

It's a great show! Murder, intrigue, sociopathic relationships...What's not to love?

Veronica Mars is alot like Buffy without the vampire stuff and fighting. She is quick with the comebacks and has alot of pop culture references. Or 1940s Private Eye noir with Lauren Bacall playing the Humphrey Bogart part.

I've come to like
Painkiller Jane. Maybe its because Kristanna Loken reminds me of Peta Wilson in
La Femme Nikita. Both shows with strong beautiful women who go to work for covert spy agencies.

I don't watch much TV...too much liberal bias for my taste...plus it's just a black hole to suck time. That being said, there are a couple of shows I typically watch.
Mythbusters
Travel the Road
And shows I miss being on: Babylon 5 and Spenser for Hire

At least you said you watched a few and didn’t say that you hadn’ looked at television since 1973. ;-)

1. House
2. 24
3. Ghost Hunters
4. Charles Stanley.
When I was a kid, my favorite shows were; In Search of with Leonard Nemoy, Ripley’s Believe it or Not and Sanford and Son.

SpongeBob Squarepants.
Seriously, I really don’t have time to watch TV shows other than spending time with my kids watching cartoons. And SpongeBob cracks me up more than most of the so-called “comedies” they show on Prime Time these days.

LOL...no, I do have a tv...I’ve mostly turned it over to the kids for choice of shows, which means cartoons are normally on, but they aren’t ones I pay much attention to or look forward to when they’re on.
