What's Your Favorite Television Show?
Posted on 05/15/2007 8:52:16 AM PDT by HungarianGypsy
I don't watch too much television, but one of my favorite shows is Supernatural on the CW.
So, I was just curious about what other Freepers like to watch.

Note: this topic is a vanity and was begun in mid-May.
HBO's "Rome" of course. ;') I don't watch TV very much. The last regular broadcast show I liked was "That 70s Show", and I A) don't take cable or sat, and B) don't get any reception here for some reason, so I C) stick to videos, mostly on DVD, occasionally on VHS. I've got the first season of "Rome" on disk (nicest box set I've ever seen, but I don't shop much), and watched it around tax time, and again about a week or two ago.
To all -- please ping me to other topics which are appropriate for the GGG list. Thanks. Please FREEPMAIL me if you want on or off the

With the exception of 24, I watch mostly scifi. I'm a fan of Star Trek in its various forms as well as Stargate, Battlestar Galactica, and Babylon 5.
I also like Alias pretty well. I guess that's not technically scifi but it has some very scifi elements to it.

Don’t watch network or cable TV anymore.
Recent favorites from Blockbuster and Netflix, though:
House
Babylon 5 (we’re up to third season)
Jeeves and Wooster
Johnny Quest
I have noticed that commercials are getting better. The “Your Dreams Miss You” commercial with the beaver and Abe Lincoln are great!

I watched the first season of GINO (Galactica In Name Only) on DVD. I tried to like it, but the Colonials are simply too stupid to live.
“Soap” is probably a good description.

I watched the first season of GINO (Galactica In Name Only) on DVD. I tried to like it, but the Colonials are simply too stupid to live. I know exactly what you mean. It's a Sci-Fi soap opera and only about one in four episodes is worth watching IMHO. But I still watch it once in a while when I get the chance, and often times, after it's over, I feel soooo used! :)

Shows you sued to watch and miss. I am sure that was supposed to be used to. LOL! It took me a second on rereading this to realize what I had meant to write. I know. Proofreading, not just spell check.

It *was* Red Green (not on anymore).
Nowadays, I kinda like “Over your Head” on HGTV

I really miss Farscape and Firefly. Anxiously awaiting the return of Battlestar Galactica. Currently watch Hell’s Kitchen, Bones, and House.

I love to watch Lawrence Welk, too! The trouble is...the show’s often off when it’s supposed to be on. :-(

In no particular order:
Doctor Who
Eureka
Psych
24
Lost
The Unit
Medium
Dead Zone
Heroes
The 4400
House
Prison Break
My wife really likes The Closer and Without a Trace; I like them okay but don’t care if I miss them. She also watches The Riches. I started watching it, since I like Eddie Izzard in general, but found the show to be too much of a downer to stay with.
We’ve watched Season 1 of Supernatural on DVD and enjoyed it, but haven’t seen anything more
