"We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!" President Bush.
Good morning.
Vice President Dick Cheney made a surprise visit to Baghdad to encourage an end to the Sunni and Shiite dispute by meeting Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, as well as with Iraq's Kurdish president and its Sunni and Shiite vice presidents.
It has been reported that armed gunmen have captured 4 Chevron oil workers in Nigeria.
Yes, I fear it is.
Wouldn't you know that this is the first day this week that I can be home all day, and now it's raining!
Praying for Toby and his family in family court today.
Knock Knock
Hi Jane! Hope it passes by soon. It’s very nice here for 2 days in a row and I’ll send it your way.
LOL! I wonder why he didn’t blame it on the President?
The things about this story that is the MOST disturbing to me is the way EVERY government official I’ve yet heard keeps going on about ‘not AlQueda’ ...
When are people going to wake up to the fact that AlQ doesn’t depend to organization to accomplish its aims? They’ll give monetary and training support to some lucky dudes, but that doesn’t constitute the bulk of their effort. They are simply hoping to spread the anti-Western hatred and tools to accomplish that via whatever means, and in their operation, the more independent from AlQ it is, the more effective it can be! This is why it is so important to mine information as to who is hunting up terror means and methods on the internet and libraries, and other such efforts!
“Lone wolf” attacks are the BEST means for AlQ, and they have worked to foster that. These ARE “terrorist attacks”.
Here’s one you missed!
A Tremendous analysis of the recent elections in France. Sounds like it could really be a “sea change” according to this author! I looked a bit at his credentials... Very impressive. He’s probably got it very well pegged... I hope so, anyway.
Very worthwhile reading ... I highly recommend ...
Au Revoir: De Gaulle, Le Pen, and the Communist party have been expunged from French politics.

I’m going to be looking at this to see if there is any application to American politics, too... Pretty interesting thoughts about what has occurred in France the last 50 years.
Well, I'm with you; shoot 'em, hang 'em, electrocute'em, or, since they are so keen on beheading, build a guillotine and put it to use.
Unfortunately, the wrong people are in power in our government (CRAT Congress) for a summary judgment and execution. Sad to say, they might even go free.
Rush is just now talking about your point. That it’s the IDEOLOGY that is common between these rogue cells and al Qaeda.
Another thing Emerson mentioned was that he hoped the informants and the video tip-off guy would get protection if they needed it. He said there's loop-hole in some law which only provides FBI protection for public figures.
I've been working on family reunion details today...and made a call to one of my friends who's hospitalized. Will try the other one later.
the one I talked to - with the brain tumor - knew me, but asked what day it was. The last she remembered, pre-op, was Sunday...
Look here it's my day off must you talk about work?
Welcome to the world of home ownership!

AND Bennett interviewed Andrew McCarthy, and one of the topics they covered was legal jurisdiction. Too complicated for me to remember that early in the a.m.!
then Prager interviewed Walid Phares...and he says the extreme Islamist elements are well-entrenched here via those blasted mosques, & "learning centers".
Ruh-Roo... an assignment...
I hope it doesn’t have too many of those “SameManyNames-alLaChicken” ... I get so confused by the naming stuff!
I’ll take a look tonight, though.
