I’ve had it on all afternoon. Rob Charry is mad because we traded with Dallas. Hugh Douglas is trying to stay calm. The callers are nuts already. Eskin is on the phone calling in now and not happy they helped Dallas. Said they traded down because Merriweather was gone.

They have 1 5th, 4 6ths and 1 7th.

Lots of chafe at those spots. They don’t need any more of those stiffs, they need impact players.

I guess they think that 1 3rd and 2 4ths will bring them some players. Perhaps a LB or some additional O-lineman or maybe a sleeper DB.

Next year is expected to be a better draft and they can have a 15, the last pick in the 1st round (SB winners pick there) plus a second which means 3 of the top 64.

Maybe some sort of trade is in the works to bring them another quality LB. I am not knowledgeable on the players that will be available later in this draft. I’m surprised at the trade...doesn't seem like a very good deal to me.

MIami had 3 go, LSU with 4, Texas ,OSU and Florida with 2.

Trading up ten spots in the 1st round is usually expensive. In this case the Pats swapped a 28 for likely a top 12-15.
