AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 2282) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | April 23, 2007 | All of Us

Posted on 04/23/2007 4:59:18 AM PDT by Chairman_December_19th_Society

As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!!

Good morning!!

We, here, will never forget thsoe who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!!

On the globull warming front: singer Sheryl Crow has an idea for saving the planet. When you use the rest room "we can make it work with only one square per restroom visit, except, of course, on those pesky occasions where 2 to 3 could be required."

Experts are predicting that gasoline will rise to around $4/gal this summer.

If you're an illegal alien, San Francisco is your city. Mayor Newsom announced that he will not tolerate any city employee helping the Federal Government round up illegals in his city, declaring it a sanctuary for illegals.

DemoncRATS are bent on surrendering. They are hammering out a Iraq War funding bill in a conference committee to deconflict issues between the House and the Senate, but conferees agree on keeping a timetable for withdrawl in the bill.

Hitlery says, if elected, her husband would be a roving ambassador to the world to repair the Nation's tattered image abroad.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Good morning everyone...

I said all I’m going to about that antirudy JimRob thread for now... very sad.

Other things seem to be winding down. I’ll be seeing y’all here more often now at ATRW.

I’m surprised at how hard I took the news about kayak. If I had not been on duty this weekend, I would have driven down there. Strange how close I felt to someone I never met in person.

Da Kid and I had a great weekend. He is sick this morning, with some sort of stomach flu or food poisoning (Dad's cooking?). We are getting our lives back on an even keel and schedule.

Crow's suggestion of using one sheet of toilet paper reminds me of the old US Army Ranger joke about the same thing. Remember to keep the center you tore out to clean under your fingernail! :-)

GOOD A.M. CHAIR, ALL, FROM THE MISSISSIPI GULF COAST, USA, BRUISED AND STILL BRUISED (TO:WIT FEMA RULES AND REGULATIONS)!!!!

Serious thing if the radicals blast of a biggie in England as they are talking, lets just hope it is that, just threats..

My sick wee little turkey if getting better, got a set of lungs too, loudest one in the bunch. My German Sheppard still will not let the other dogs get around them, fully how she mothers them, she did this with the first batch I got.

We are getting ready to go into town, the kids have to go to the eye doctor and after that we start buying plants for the garden.

Pray for the free world, we are living in very dangerous times as we can see, lets do our part.

Our last sentence, you are so right, like long lost cousins. You all keep my clock running for sure.

You know we're living in a crazy world when constipation might be a way to save the earth from globull warming.

(Sorry, folks, but Sheryl Crowe's vapid remarks jump started my silly gene.)

CM, Crow can do this. She has terminal oral diarrhea!

That takes a lot of the stress off of the other end! :-)

Strange how close I felt to someone I never met in person.

Yes. Kay last year was very helpful to me when I was looking at buying a business in North Carolina. She was familiar with the area where I was looking and offered a lot of her time to help me.

When that purchase didn't come together, she was very encouraging as I started a business. She freepmailed me several times with very kind words of encouragement and support, and - because she and her husband had done it also - knew what I needed to hear.

It says a lot about her that she went out of her way to help someone she only knew a little bit from an internet political forum.

I will miss her very much.

Actually, rather than “long lost cousins” it feels more like a rather close cousin situation. I spoke with my mom about this when she was visiting this weekend and tried to relate to her how strange it is. She’s pretty much confined her internet use to communicating with family and close friends, and hasn’t gotten involved in any forums like this.

Different world...

Hi, just checking in briefly, and I was struck by your post.

One of the things I have always cherished about FR is that it allowed me to meet such interesting people. In my everyday life I have few friends I see often (being at home and not working) and so my social contacts are pretty much confined to family, church, and whoever I talk to at the grocery store.

This site gave me a place to share my thoughts and opinions, and to meet such fascinating people in the process. Who knew that there were so many people who would get a joke about Cthulu? Who knew that there were so many gardeners? Fascinating people, well read, good writers...just a wonderful place to make some true friends.

And they are true friends, because we share such important parts of our lives with each other. I have a hard time remembering how it was before I signed onto FR.

Things have changed, though. You don't find too many in-depth discussions. Mostly name-calling, gossip, and flame wars. This is not what I am interested in, so I check into ATRW, look at the other news, and then go out and work in the garden. The horrible people have spoiled the place for me.
