An ATRW member of good standing is battling a major life threatening illness...that could possible take her from us...and a couple of us asked to have a long time freeper reinstated.....but that request was ignored...and I would like to know why.

Imus ... the cowboy-hatted fellow who for years spewed silly stuff designed, without exception, to garner ratings whenever and wherever he could find them was fired for remarks he made about the Rutgers Ladies Basketball Team ... using racial comments for laughs, he negated their efforts to be stronger, be better ... and win ... which they did ...
Now ... snow has fallen in places where it should not, at this time of year ... records have been broken in every region ... it even snowed in Crawford, Tx. ...
uh-oh ... the White House has admitted they occidentally deleted e-mails pertaining to the firing of Federal Judges and is scrambling to find them even as Leaky Leahy decries the cover-up and Nancy P. .... oh, kayak, if you had felt better, you would have enjoyed her many fashion statements which made her look like a bread sales-lady and a homeless person ... is designing a new foreign policy! Indeed so!
Arguments were made that she breached the "Logan" act ... by acting on foreign policy in a foreign country without the President's approval ... but that's a dead frog floating in the water ...and nothing will come of it ...

Just some thoughts about today’s society:
I think we can agree that our society is broken and continuing in a downward spiral. We can put a lot of the blame on the MSM and the education system. But, we must also put the blame on the judicial system and (sorry GC6) to some extent law enforcement which is part of the judicial system. We’ve seen Socks Burgler get a pass, UOx42 got a pass, Cynthia McKinney gets a pass, Pelosis gets a pass and on and on and on. There is one application of the law for pubbies and another for RATS.
I have said that we need to encourage our young conservatives to become educators and journalists. I’ve changed my mind. I think it is as important, or more, that we become lawyers, and therefore attorneys general and judges. Additionally, we need to continue to staff the military. These spots are where actual power, not imputed power, is.
It would take about a generation and half to retake the society. Do we have that much time?

The thing that amazes me is that the black community is always talking about how black males are railroaded into prison, they don’t get a fair trial, they are found guilty because they are black, they are an automatic suspect because of their race, etc. And yet, they turn right around and do the same thing to others, like the Duke lacrosse players. Because a person of their race said something happened, then those players were automatically found guilty in the press, etc.
And Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are just out there fanning those flames of racial divide.
As you know I am a Mormon. In the Book of Mormon, it talks about the civilizations that lived upon the American continent 600 BC to 400 AD. All through the different books, the prophets and people keep talking about the different groups that would form and that those groups were always at odds with each other. Eventually there would be a war, then a cycle of peace where everyone was the same, and then the divisions would start again. I always thought the divisions talked about were religious (those who believed in God and followed His commandments and those who did not), and the rich vs the poor. However, I am starting to realize that the divisions were by race, by physical characteristics, by political beliefs, by sex, by interests. They weren’t just citizens of one nation, they were divided by groups.
And we are seeing the same thing today, leaders using the groups to divide us as Americans. It is pretty sad. And just like the ancient civilization that lived on this continent and killed off the descendants of the righteous, it is happening in America right now. Except we believe that the Second Coming of Christ will not allow that to happen (destruction of the United States.)
