This could put me in jeopardy on this site....but I am going to ask again.

An ATRW member of good standing is battling a major life threatening illness...that could possible take her from us...and a couple of us asked to have a long time freeper reinstated.....but that request was ignored...and I would like to know why.

I don't usually make a lot of waves on this site.....I'm not a trouble maker...I'm just a friend who wants to see two people get some closure.

Good evening, kayak!

I've been missing talking to you ... for Heaven's sake ... you're not dead yet ... and those reading this are obviously not either. We plan .... HE decides ....

Well .... we need to weave a bigger handbasket ... the one we've got is not deep enough or wide enough to hold all the craziness which abounds ... I'm thinking you might be slightly out of the loop so here's a catch-up ...

There's a wee Polar Bear in Germany, adopted by a zoo, but PETA thinks it should be killed because it's not right for a human to raise a wild animal. Meanwhile, the sweet little Polar Bear which will grow, in time, to a HUGE carnivore, is delighting in human kindness .... heaven touching earth ...

Imus ... the cowboy-hatted fellow who for years spewed silly stuff designed, without exception, to garner ratings whenever and wherever he could find them was fired for remarks he made about the Rutgers Ladies Basketball Team ... using racial comments for laughs, he negated their efforts to be stronger, be better ... and win ... which they did ...

Now ... snow has fallen in places where it should not, at this time of year ... records have been broken in every region ... it even snowed in Crawford, Tx. ...

uh-oh ... the White House has admitted they occidentally deleted e-mails pertaining to the firing of Federal Judges and is scrambling to find them even as Leaky Leahy decries the cover-up and Nancy P. .... oh, kayak, if you had felt better, you would have enjoyed her many fashion statements which made her look like a bread sales-lady and a homeless person ... is designing a new foreign policy! Indeed so!

Arguments were made that she breached the "Logan" act ... by acting on foreign policy in a foreign country without the President's approval ... but that's a dead frog floating in the water ...and nothing will come of it ...

Naps are good for you ... take yours often .... Global warming has pretty much taken out the entire peach and cherry crop for this year even as we are told to cut back on consumption of thises and thats.

Kurt Vonnekut has died ... unlike the rest of us who are still kicking up the soil ...

He thought Reagan was a childish man and ill-informed .... He died alone, and I am sorry for that ....

I found a palm on the sidewalk coming into work the other day. How can that be thrown aaway, I thought ... We go to church, do you understand what we've been given ... like talking to my kayak on a pretty April evening ....
